When going through the gallery on the phone/ computer I can always refresh my mind. It has memories that I want to keep with me for as long as possible. You know life is a tricky business right? It's always learning and collecting memories.

It was way back in 2017, the time I had fewer responsibilities and was stress-free. Can enjoy with friends with frequent gatherings. So, this is the trip to Ella Rock.

Ella Rock is one of the famous tourist attractions in Sri Lanka with breathtaking views. At least once in a lifetime, you should travel to Ella/ Bandarawela region.

Famous Nine Arch Bridge, mini Adma's Peak, Addison, Madolsima, Ohiya, all are nearby. With the cool temperature, boys will love to spend at least one night here, you know what I mean.

It's located at around 8km from Ella town, and to be honest, it's a bit hard hike. There are no clear paths, so can be lost easily. It's around a 10km trip, and most probably you will take 2-3 hours to reach the top. But, it's totally worthy.

Following a rail track up to Kithalella station, you will see the signboard in the direction of the hike. Starting with tea plantations you will pass through beautiful landscapes, huge trees, etc.

There is one intermediate viewpoint as well as the peak. The view is just stunning. Surrounding hills, mountains, and villages can be clearly seen and totally worth your effort. At the top, you are well above 1040m from the sea level.

It's perfect for taking photographs. I think you have seen that image taken sitting on Ella Rock. Unfortunately, I was a stupid kid back in time, not to take that shot. 😅😅

If you are hoping to go you do not need a guide. Now as I know there are some marks marked. And don't worry, the lace is never without people, locals, and foreigners. So, it's always fine.
