Some Quality time with nature + friends!!

Walking down a sandy road, with the breeze from the lake kissing your face, looking at the sunset through the giant trees and mountains!

So, what do you guys feel? Can you imagine the situation?

Today I traveled through a beautiful area near my village with 2 of my best friends. As you can see in the picture, the typical atmosphere around a village lake is no less here. The time is around 5 p.m. Just after a small rain. So, it was the perfect weather condition. The place is Ambakola Wewa, in Unawatuna, 3km away from the Buttala-Wellawaya main road.

It's a small reservoir, but doing a great job for the villagers, located near the famous Yudagana lake.

People used to catch fish on small scale here. We can buy freshwater fish like Korali, Thalapia, and Reef fish here.

And one part of the lake is completely covered with flowers. But unfortunately, people don't pluck them recently. There were few deaths here. I didn't dig the story, because I didn't want to lose my mood.

One of my friends, Sachitha, is planning to fly to Singapore, for his higher studies. So, we just met and roam here and there for a few hours. We brought some roti, and sweets and tasted them. It was lovely to talk about the past and refresh the laughing nerves. We have been friends for more than 15 years now. The same village, and same school, and Sachitha and I were at the same Uni. So, there were a thousand memories in every way. Wishing good Luck for his future!

When I was there I remembered one FB post. ''Someone has shared a photo with 3 Sri Lankan traveling couples who are famous on Social media, with the caption of, the ones who enjoy life.'' Yeah, they are enjoying their life, maybe, I don't know. But I thought are they the only ones who enjoy life?

The perspective on happiness, and life is relative to one another. We can't compare or complain as long as that doesn't hurt the world. One may enjoy nature, one may love to travel, one may be obsessed with sports or literature or to be in the home with their family. So, don't get confused with stupid people or quotes. Just find your own way. Find the happiness within yourself and enjoy it to the fullest!
