These two stars known for their own exceptionally brilliant performance and also having the largest individual fanbase belonging to rival clubs too that is Real Madrid and Barcelona. Any of us would understand the amount of money laliga has lost and the more they will lose with Messi's transfer eminent. fingers have been pointed and it looks like the Barcelona board are at fault in this situation with the decisions they made.

Barcelona come in second when it comes revenues generated for laliga and with Messi leaving implies a drastic decrease in revenue which will result from lower jersey sales as well as lesser stream because a lot of people actually watch laliga and el classico because of the presence of Messi.

Though big names like Eden Hazard, Benzema just mentioning a few are will still give the league popularity but the transfers of Cristiano Ronaldo and now Lionel Messi leave huge voids to fill and will be a huge blow to the league financially and with popularity too, a lot of these footballers joined laliga to play with the two greatest apart from club history.
