Membership Validation by @kofimaestro : Sunday, 2 May, 2021
Hello,
It is with great joy I write this post to gain a permanent or authentic membership validation from the world of football community. It is one great community which demands members complete dedication to make it a better one. Seeing this gives me much joy for it is the community I have been active in for sometime now and the firts to have been given the opportunity to officially register my membership.
Going forward, I would be sharing here with all football loving steemians some memorable football moments like great come-backs, great matches, sad moments in our beautiful game of football, analysis of important football matches, preview to yet to be played football matches, updates and reviews on great players of our time and the past, dead or alive, and with enough reputation gathered, give predictions to football matches as organized by @tht.
One would have to read the post by @njaywan to know the goals of the world of football community.
On the question of content etiquette, our brains are not boxes of completely new knowledge, what we think of or do might have already been thought of or done by others. Content etiquette to the best of my knowledge are to the rules and regulations that govern posts or writings which do not allow one to present someone's posts or writing as one's own or to borrow others ideas and present with no reference to them. The owners hold copyright as the sole owners of their work and need to be consulted or acknowledged to use their work. When not done properly, it is termed plagiarism or copyright infringement. This act is mostly dangerous and attract fines or jail terms especially when the fellow with the copyright license has invested much in putting up the post.
For this reason and steemit aim of supporting quality original posts, newcomers are taken through a process of knowing much about plagiarism through the guidelines by @cryptokannon in her recently updated post.
Plagiarism is the intentional, reckless, or unintentional presentation of someones else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement.
University of Oxford
It can take any form as presented by @kofimaestro in his post.
With this knowledge in mind, I will do my possible best to refrain from this act by taking note of all sources visited in writing my posts, paraphrase as much as possible or quote and include in-text citations as required by the @steemitblog chain.
Also, I would most use copyright-free images in my post and to avoid all this mayhem use as much as in my capacity my personal-shot images.
Copyright abuse or infringement is the use of or produ tion copyright-protected material without the permission of the copyright holder.
Investopedia
This is a crime which the copyright holder can follow up to court and hold the offender liable but on steemit can lead to one being muted.
To cite an image, one can use the process as fully described by @njaywan and @worldoffootball in the posts 1 and 2 respectively.
To get a copyright-free image go to one of the copyright-free image sources as described by @njaywan and @worldoffootball or visit google.

The consequences of copyright abuse in the world of football has been spelt out in the post by @worldoffootball to be a complete ban from the community or muting of the offender so he or she won't be able to share in this community.
"I am well aware of the rules of this community as well as the norms os Steemit and will abide by them at all times".
Thank you and I hope the community heads will validate me to the membership position.
Hi, you did an overall great job with the work.
One thing, when you are using the words from an external site, be sure to write it in your own words even if you properly cite it as well.
Everything else looks good.
I will be verifying you shortly.
Thank you. Point well noted.
Thank you for confirming my membership
Thanks for this writeup
You welcome.
