THE PREVIEW OF MATCHDAY 8 FROM EPL BIG SIX
After about weeks football fans around the world waited anxiously for the best league in the world to return to action. This weekend brought lots of joy to the fan base but others are still facing some issues. There’s no doubt that this season’s EPL is is going to be one of the toughest season the EPL history. It’s unfortunate some of the players couldn’t get back in time to participate in matchday 8 games but as it stands now it makes no different.
The reds continue their incredible run after the international break beating newly promoted side Watford. The current form of Mo Sallah is phenomenal giving one assist and scoring a goal also Mane Mane and Firmino has also seemed to have gotten their form back making them the deadly trio now with Mane scoring one and Firmino scoring a hat trick and assisting one. Liverpool are currently second on the EPL table with 18 points with Chelsea one point more than them. There’s no doubt Liverpool are one of the favorite to take the EPL this season.
The season started so well for Manchester United but down the line things have gotten tough for the Red Devils. Manchester United ended their unbeaten run for most away undefeated games after being defeated by Leicester city the in the kings park stadium on Saturday. Mason Greenwood stunner open the scoring with an incredible solo goal. Leicester city fought back where Tielemans equalize the goal before halftime. Leicester city dazzled Manchester United and scoring three more goals with Vardy, Soyuncu and Daka all scoring. After several months of injury , Marcus Rashford returned to score his first goal in this season, a sublime goal but wasn’t enough to beat the foxes. The final score was Leicester city 4-2 Manchester United.
The citens played very well this weekend against Burnley with a total shot on target of 7. The title defenders are still showing why they are still the title contenders this makes the epl more interesting. Manchester City hosted Burnley at the Etihad stadium and played very great football. Burnley also gave the host some tough time but still Manchester city showed them the reason their still the title defenders. Bernardo Silva open in the scoring earlier in the game before finally the world class midfielder Kelvin De Bryune sealing the lead with a spectacular goal. Currently Manchester City sits third in the EPL table with 17 points with one point behind Liverpool
The blues still continue their amazing run in the EPL is amazing. On Saturday, Chelsea travelled away to the Brenford community stadium to face the newly promoted side Brenford. It was a very tough match for the blues but they came out victorious. All credits goes to Chelsea stopkeeper Edouard Mendy for the awesome performance displayed in the match. Currently for me he is the best goalkeeper in the world and it’s no hype. Benchill gave Chelsea the lead just before halftime. The surprising thing about the match was that Chelsea only managed one shot on target while Brenford had 7. Chelsea did very well especially missing one of their key player Antonio Rudiger. Chelsea are currently 1st on the table with 19 points just one above Liverpool.
The Lilywhites have not have it easy this season but with time things could change. Tottenham travelled to St James’ park on Sunday to face Newcastle. It was a very interesting game with five goals in all. Callum Wilson opened the scoring with just two minutes into the game. Tottenham responded quickly after 17 minutes with goal from Ndombele. After months for not scoring for Tottenham in the EPL Hary Kane scored the second goal. The Kane and Son connection worked out again with Kane assisting Son. The final score was Newcastle 2-3 Tottenham. It’s like gradually Tottenham are getting back; Tottenham are 5th with 15 points.
The season started horribly for the gunners but as time when on the gunners improved more and haven’t lost a single game in their last 5 matches. In match day 8 the gunners sat at home in the Emirates stadium and welcomed Crystal Palace. Arsenal started very well with Aubameyang scorning on the 8th minutes. After the second half Crystal Palace gave the host a tough time with Benteke equalizing the goal. The visited also added up with another goal from O. Edouard which made things more difficult for the gunners. Lacazette came from the bench to equalize the goal for the gunners at the very last minute. The gunners are now the 12th position with only 11 points.

Seriously Manchester United need to sack this coach, he can't manage those players, they need a coach like Zidane well experienced.
Manchester city, played well but they missed lot of chances, they should have scored more.
Chelsea were lucky, Brentford were better, but unlucky, plus Mendy is the best goal keeper right now, impressive performance.
Arsenal are getting in good form, but they slipped off in the second half, hopefully they learn from that.
