Saludos mi querida comunidad de World Of Football, apenas me tropecé con este concurso no me pude resistir a participar y mucho menos imaginarme un concurso sin la presencia de una persona que ama tanto el futbol como lo es mi persona, por lo tanto agradezco al amigo @njaywan por esta excelente iniciativa a la cual me uno con todo el entusiasmo del mundo.

En esta oportunidad les vengo a hablar del momento más memorable del mundo del futbol para mí, desde muy pequeño (6 años), empecé a seguir el futbol gracias a mis hermanos mayores, pero siempre veía partidos de grandes equipos europeos: Manchester United (Equipo del cual soy fan desde 1999), Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, etc. Con el paso de algunos años y viendo el mundial del 2002, se me presento una interrogante porque la selección de mi país no participaba en tan prestigioso torneo y me dispuse a averiguar y seguir algunos partidos de mi selección la cual cariñosamente llamamos VINOTINTO.
Al averiguar e investigar me encontré con una selección de poco prestigio y con muchas goleadas a cuestas y aun más doloroso con él nunca haber podido clasificar a la Copa del Mundo de la FIFA, tal vez, por participar en la confederación más complicada o solo por falta de nivel, esto me entristeció y decepciono un poco, sin embargo, comencé a apoyar la selección de una manera inimaginable y algunas veces hasta incomprendida por familiares, amigos y conocidos.

Todo esto fue cambiando progresivamente hasta dejar de ser la “cenicienta” del continente. Mi recuerdo memorable del mundo del futbol se remonta a mediados del año 2011 cuando se disputaba la Copa América 2011 en Argentina, la Vinotinto quedo agrupada junto a la pentacampeona del mundo Brasil, Paraguay (quien venía de estar entre las 8 mejores selecciones del mundo perdiendo justo con la campeona del mundo España) y por último la selección de Ecuador.
Al principio del torneo las expectativas estaban por el suelo dado lo complicado del grupo, sin embargo la selección tomo la responsabilidad con gallardía, luego de las 2 primeras fechas Venezuela tenía grandes posibilidades de clasificar, gracias a un empate frente a Brasil (0-0) y una victoria frente Ecuador (1-0), pero para asegurar la clasificación debían sumar al menos un punto frente a la aguerrida selección de Paraguay.
Recuerdo ver ese último partido junto a mis padres, hermanos, amigos y vecinos todos en nuestra casa y toda parecía iniciar de la mejor manera, ya que no habían transcurrido 5 minutos y ya la selección ganaba 1 a 0, pero con el pasar de los minutos Paraguay logro imponerse hasta estar arriba en el marcador por 3 a 1, la decepción y la tristeza se apodero de todos nosotros hasta hacer retirarse a varios de los invitados, hasta mis padres se fueron a su cuarto para no ver “la paliza” con mi padre lo catálogo.
Llego el minuto 89 y pocos éramos los que aun veíamos el partido juntos, la selección logra marcar y el partido esta 3-2, por un momento me emocione pero luego la escasez de tiempo me hizo volver a mi estado de tristeza, ya en el tercer minuto de agregado se le presenta un tiro de esquina a la Vinotinto y digno de un final de película el entrenador manda a subir hasta al arquero, lanzan el tiro de esquina y el arquero logra impactar de cabeza y la pelota queda viva en el área chica hasta ser impactada por otro cabezazo de un defensor venezolano la selección logra llegar al empate y con la asistencia nada más y nada menos que del arquero, una de las hazañas mas históricas del futbol venezolano, todos en mi casa saltamos de alegría, los vecinos que se habían ido volvieron a la casa, mis padres salieron del cuarto y todos nos abrazamos, lloramos y celebramos el gol del empate como si era el gol que nos daba el campeonato del mundo, al término de la fase de grupo Venezuela termino empatada en el primer lugar junto a Brasil siendo esta solo la segunda vez que clasifican a la segunda ronda de una Copa América. En la segunda ronda llegaron hasta las semifinales, quedando en cuarto lugar del torneo y así lograr ganarse el respeto de todas las otras selecciones del continente y de todo el futbol mundial en general y para mí en lo personal me regalaron la actuación y el partido más memorable que yo recuerde de mi VINOTINTO y del futbol en general.

All of this progressively changed until it ceased to be the “Cinderella” of the continent. My memorable memory of the world of soccer goes back to the middle of 2011 when the Copa América 2011 was played in Argentina, Vinotinto was grouped together with the five-time world champion Brazil, Paraguay (who came from being among the 8 best teams in the world losing fair with the world champion Spain) and finally the Ecuadorian team.
At the beginning of the tournament, expectations were on the ground given the complicated nature of the group, however the team took responsibility with gallantry, after the first 2 dates Venezuela had great chances of qualifying, thanks to a draw against Brazil (0-0 ) and a victory against Ecuador (1-0), but to ensure qualification they had to score at least one point against the fierce selection of Paraguay.
I remember watching that last game with my parents, brothers, friends and neighbors all in our house and everything seemed to start in the best way, since 5 minutes had not elapsed and the team was already winning 1 to 0, but with the passing of the minutes Paraguay managed to prevail to be up on the scoreboard by 3 to 1, disappointment and sadness seized all of us until several of the guests retired, even my parents went to their room so as not to see "the beating" with my father catalogs it.
The 89th minute came and few of us were still watching the game together, the team manages to score and the game is 3-2, for a moment I was excited but then the lack of time made me return to my state of sadness, already in the Third minute added, a corner kick is presented to Vinotinto and worthy of a movie ending, the coach sends the goalkeeper up, they launch the corner kick and the goalkeeper manages to hit the head and the ball remains alive in the area girl until she was hit by another header from a Venezuelan defender, the team managed to reach a draw and with the assistance of nothing more and nothing less than the goalkeeper, one of the most historic feats of Venezuelan football, everyone in my house jumped for joy, the neighbors who had left returned home, my parents left the room and we all hugged, cried and celebrated the tying goal as if it were the goal that gave us the world championship, at the end of the group stage Venezuela ended up tied in first place with Brazil, this being only the second time they have qualified for the second round of a Copa América. In the second round they reached the semifinals, finishing fourth in the tournament and thus winning the respect of all the other teams on the continent and of all world football in general and for me personally they gave me the best performance and game memorable that I remember of my VINOTINTO and soccer in general.
