Liverpool 0-1 Inter Milan

The first game ended with a 2-0 Liverpool win so 0-1 was not enough for Inter. The first half was about even, not too many chances, Liverpool had more possession but there were no clear chances. Inter played quite a good first half. I really never thought Liverpool would be in any trouble though.

The second half had a good start for Inter but then Liverpool took possession of the game and had a lot of chances, but then came Inter's moment they had about three minutes of intense football and Lautaro scored a great goal. This gave them impetus and they went looking for the second goal, unfortunately for them, Alexis Sanchez got a second yellow card and was sent off, that was the end for Inter. I must say Sanchez's first foul should have been a direct red, but the referee did not see it that way.

Salah hit two posts, Handanovic saved a couple of shots and Vidal saved a clear goal from Luis Diaz, Inter tried to get the second goal but frankly, with a team as intense as Liverpool and with only ten men it was an impossible task. Still, it was a very good game, Inter was much better than I expected them to be.

I was going to bet on Liverpool but I always end up losing my bets so I didn't want to jinx Liverpool, now it seems just thinking about betting is a guarantee my team loses.
