UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINALS

The draw for the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League round of eight matches was held on Friday (18/03/2022) at UEFA headquarters, Nyon, Switzerland. From the results of the drawing there will be an exciting match to fight for the semifinal ticket. The big match will be between Chelsea and Real Madrid. Then Manchester City versus Atletico Madrid, and Villarreal which will challenge Bayern Munich, as well as Benfica's match against Liverpool.
The match between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid is the first meeting between the two teams in European competition. Manchester City will host the first leg at the Etihad Stadium. Defending Champions League champions Chelsea will host the first leg against Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge. The first leg match between the hosts Villarreal against Bayern Munich will take place at the Estadio de la Ceramica, on Thursday 7 April 2022. The Bavarians are the favorites to win the Champions League title this season. While another favorite team, Liverpool got a relatively easier opponent, Benfica. In the first leg of the quarter-finals, Benfica will host Liverpool at the Stadio da Luz.
The first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals will be played on 5-6 April 2022, while the second leg will be on 12-13 April 2022.
