IS A ERLING HAALAND TO CHELSEA MOVE STILL POSSIBLE THIS SUMMER?

in World Of Football ⚽4 years ago (edited)

For quite some time now, Erling Haaland has been trending on social media and linked with a possible move to Chelsea. He seems to be a top target for the Thomas Tuchel followed by Declan Rice and Jules Kounde. Let's not forget he still has 2 years left on his contract and getting him at this point will be very expensive for Chelsea.

His release clause could be as high as £75m according to Fabrizio Romano. And if you add any transfer fees plus addons to secure this deal, this could put him at the top of the list when it comes to the most expensive player Chelsea would have purchased. I doubt Chelsea are that desperate after their mass transfers last season with the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Thiago Silva, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell.

Today, an interview with the Norwegian Striker did with sky sports broke the internet. I think it was very unexpected by most Chelsea fans out there since they probably thought something is happening behind the scenes. Haaland claims he hasn't spoken with his manager in over a month now and the said transfer bid is too huge for one person. This could possibly mean that his move is highly unlikely.

Haaland could be very useful in the front end of Chelsea's attack since he knows how to position and receive passes from the likes of Ziyech, Chilwell, Kante and Mount. Also he is very clinical when it comes to his finishing ability so I definitely see him scoring a large number of goals.

Will he join The Blues??

I mean, his personal achievements alone speaks for itself at such a young age of 20 years racking up an impressive number of goals and already having a golden boot under his belt. His thirst for goals is simply a thing every team will ever wish for.

To be honest, I see him linking up quite well with a number of players at Chelsea. However, it is highly possible that we may not see him move this year.
But if he comes to Chelsea, it's going to be a big blow for Timo Werner since he will clearly be left out or simply sold.

Being a fan of United and a clear rival of an opponent team like Chelsea, I wouldn't want them to have such a lethal striker by their side because he will just destruct opponent teams with ease and no mercy, but that's also what makes football interesting right?

It will surely be interesting to see Erling play with Chelsea. I agree, he might limit the play time of Timo Werner or may close the chapter on Werner's chelsea career.

I really like to see Werner play. I think he is quite hardworking, just unlucky.

I like the way he plays too
