West Ham United Lose Grip On Top 4.
Hello everyone to my thoughts on West Ham United's champions league hopes and their season.

After an astonishing run of form this season, West Ham United were in reach to grab one of the champions league spots. But a rather poor run of results lately could crash those champions league dreams.
West Ham are now placed 6th in the English Premier League table 3 points above Tottenham and Everton who both have a game in hand.
David Moyes side could have gone 2 points above Liverpool and 3 points behind Chelsea after Cheslea's shocking defeat to Arsenal if they had defeated Brighton.
Before their draw with Brighton on Saturday night, they had lost 3 games in 5 and won 2. Those defeats all came at home to Everton, Chelsea and Newcastle United.
With the current standings of the EPL table, West Ham would have to win their remaining 2 games against relegated West Bromwich Albion and 13th placed Southampton.
Even with wins at the Hawthorns and London Park respectively, they would have to pray that all the teams above and below them drop points.
That means Chelsea and Liverpool would have to lose their remaining games. Even with that, they would have to hope that Spurs and Everton too drops points. Leicester wouldn't have to worry about them since they can't mathematically surpass them.
This seems very much unlikely to happen which means the Hammers 🔨 still have a chance to get European football next season and that's the Europa League.
If West Ham United are able to get Europa league football, it would still be a very good season for them but maybe a bit painful since they could have made the champions league this season.
They certainly do have the players to help them qualify for the champions league and a great manager in the person of David Moyes who's in the conversation for Premier league manger of the season.
Thank you for reading my post and I hope you like it. Comments would be very much appreciated
The 4th spot is Liverpool's to lose now in my opinion.
Small point - Southampton play at St Mary's, not London Park
I think its theirs to lose too expecially with their run of games. But West Brom always turn up against the "big 6" 😅.Thanks for the correction but I actually meant West Ham play away at the Hawthorns vs West Brom but play at home in Londons Park vs Southampton.
Oh, I see. "London Stadium" in that case 🙂
😀 but do you think part of their recent defeats is because teams have managed to keep Lingard quiet.
I think Lingard has something to do with it - it's probably because I transferred Lingard into my Fantasy Football team. He stopped scoring on that exact day. Coincidence? I don't think so.
😂 its not coincidence but your bad luck. I have bad luck too so ive stopped transferring players in. I just use what I have.
😆 I've never spoken to anybody who has considered themselves lucky at Fantasy Football!
😂 I guess we're never winning fantasy then. You just know your're finished when you transfer a player out and he scores in the next game.
