What happened was that I basically told one of them to stop spamming with the @claudia account, which was her self-vote, and I also told her to stop accusing people and downvoting them without reason. That's a summary. Suddenly, one day, people (A couple of the ones the gorilla mentions here in his post) started downvoting me. When I tried to report the situation and leave a comment, tagging several community leaders, only one person responded at that time, to that comment.... I think they're afraid of receiving downvotes themselves, you know what I mean? That's why they don't say anything...
The thing is, even though I was mentioned in a Discord group, asking what was going on, I explained things, and received some support, but then they forgot about it, and I continued receiving those downvotes for over three months on all my posts and comments.

Why did I stay? Because I didn't think it was enough reason to leave.
I know those votes can be very damaging to smaller accounts, and can even destroy their reputations. I reported them, as I've told you before. Because I know the damage they can do. It's annoying, but after a while, I stopped paying attention. And I think it's the best thing we can do when this happens.
As for the community, they shouldn't look the other way, but rather support us in any way they can, that's my opinion.
Right now, I know that many aren't commenting on this post from our friend for fear of being attacked. And well, although I respect the positions of others, I don't agree with this, since what happens to a colleague today could happen to us tomorrow. So it's better to look at what's happening and see if something can be done.

If it comes to downvotes it never feels great because one easily believes he/she did do something wrong but it helps if we know that whatever we post is always on our account and our responsibility and no one else's. Therefore the question is: does it matter what other think, how they rate you? A down vote of .50 is huge if you in acreage not even make those 0.50.
With you I agree that this should be discusses and not ignored. If this is the case by "friends" followers or... I can only conclude that they show their true colours. It's sad but at least this is know and there's no need to keep investing in friendships or give upvotes. That may sound harse but I rather vote for the same 10 7 times per day and have a low CSI than voting for hypocrites who only care about their own wallet.
Will this happen to them? 100% and 200% sure they will be the first complaining and asking for help (unfortunately I have a very good memory and no problem with denying help).

Ignoring helped in your case, but I doubt if that many hatred is ventilated (I read the comments) this will always pass if you ignore since it goes way further over there, including threatening entire families.
Hate and envy is a nasty thing and privacy is precious since the steemit meeting aren't safe to be for everyone
Any suggestions what can be done? It sounds good to me to block the option of upvoting/downvoting and so on. Can SP be blocked after 3 auto warnings of abusive behaviour?

The same thing happens if you check other accounts. Claudia's account is linked to those accounts that hate Steemit, and you can see all the links there.
You can also see if you've received negative votes in the green dots next to your posts. The green dots are positive votes, and the red ones are downvotes:

Nothing can be done about the accounts. I think they can be blocked, but not their use of the SP. That's what I've been able to find out. I don't know if anything can be done about it. I think a HF would be necessary, and that would require a greater effort to resolve the problem, as far as I understand...

If I have to check everything, it won't be good for me because I easily start digging or searching for answers, which in most cases only confirms what I already knew. It feels like a waste of time. I prefer to do what I like most and if people join me that's fine if not it's fine too.

A community where the attacked can post to at least be rewarded (compensated) might be a help, especially if the downvoting stops after a certain time like also happened after the hardfork (everyone was downvoted who wanted to have a look at Hive and also the ones with SBI).
