The board game is "Go". The pins were used to indicate a long distance - with the game spanning the distance. The long distance... far... so the long distance game... Fargo. It made sense in my head.
I can't remember either. To be honest, I can't even remember whether it was the series or the film that I really liked.
Yes, Henry has already explained the train of thoughts to me. Brilliant! That's the playing with language that I love so much. I find it a bit difficult in English though.

Not necessarily. The multicultural participants just have to remind themselves that they are taking part in a quiz in English. The puzzles created with the English thoughts of a native English speaker.
