Greetings to friends of nature.

This week the contest for the month of March is presented and hosted by friend @simplymike, the garden journal. Where the novelties of our garden are the theme.

I planted some seeds, some germinated others didn't. Here are my radishes with a week of germination. Then following its next evolution.

Esta semana se presenta el concurso del mes de marzo que aloja la amiga @simplymike, el garden journal. En donde las novedades de nuestro jardín son el tema.

Sembré algunas semillas, algunas germinaron otras no. Acá están mis rabanitos con una semana de germinación. Luego siguiendo su evolución siguiente.

They'll be ready in a week for a salad. Very suitable, because with this quarantine it's difficult to get fresh vegetables.

Ya estarán listos en una semana para la ensalada. Muy propicio, porque con esta cuarentena es difícil conseguir vegetales frescos.

This is a hibiscus or Jamaican flower seedling. It already has approximately 15 days.

Esta es una plántula de hibisco o flor de Jamaica. Ya tiene aproximadamente 15 días.

Tomato seedlings grew firm, in good condition. Her transplant was a complete success. Of 9 seedlings 7 are producing tomatoes.

Las plántulas de tomate crecieron firmes, en buenas condiciones. Su trasplante fué todo un éxito. De 9 plántulas 7 están produciendo tomates.

The tomatoes of this plant are of the apple type, round and have a good size. The land this time is very nourished with organic compost.

Los tomates de esta planta son del tipo manzano, redondos y va teniendo un buen tamaño. La tierra en esta oportunidad está muy nutrida de compost orgánico.

These instead are pear tomatoes. They have the same time as the previous ones but they are in good shape and color.

Estos en cambio son tomates peras. Tienen el mismo tiempo que los anteriores pero van teniendo buena forma y color.

I went overboard watering. There was a week with water through the pipes and during that time I watered them often and abundantly. When I realized these tomatoes are already with these marks. Only these three tomatoes were damaged. This black stain came out on the bottom, it is rotten but I do not want to remove them from the plant. I don't know if the plant will discard them or if they end up damaging there.

Me pasé con el riego. Hubo una semana con agua por las tuberías y durante ese tiempo las regué seguido y abundante. Cuando me di cuenta, estos tomates ya están con estas marcas. Solo estos tres tomates se dañaron. Les salió esta mancha negra en el fondo, está podrido pero no quiero sacarlos de la planta. No se si la planta los desechará o se terminan de dañar allí.

My basil plants are leafy, but they get these spots off their leaves. They are spots in the form of white stars with a brown background. I know it's a fungus, but I have no idea how they originate. I try to place the irrigation water directly on the stem, to avoid water falling on the leaves, but even so, they stain.

Mis plantas de albahaca están frondosas, pero sacan estas manchas en sus hojas. Son manchas en forma de estrellas de color blanco con fondo marrón . Se que es un hongo, pero no tengo idea como se originan. Trato de colocar el agua de riego directamente al tallo, para evitar que les caiga agua a las hojas, pero aun así, se manchan.

I made cuttings of the basil branches, placed them in water and in two weeks I have all these roots on the twigs. Ready to sow.

This is an Opuntia cactus. It's blooming for the first time. I think the soil is lacking nutrients. Its fruits are very small and wrinkled. but it has many.

Este es un cactus Opuntia. Florece por primera vez. Creo que le faltan nutrientes a la tierra. Sus frutos son muy pequeños y arrugados. pero tiene muchos.

This is the ripe fruit. Its color is red as you can see. With some spines grouped together, very small, in those observed points.

Very striking the color of its interior. The pulp is not very sweet. I think I should fertilize the land with more organic fertilizer. To get bigger fruits.

Muy llamativo el color de su interior. La pulpa no es muy dulce. Creo que debo abonar la tierra con mas cantidad de abono orgánico. Para obtener frutos más grandes.

These are cuttings from Euphorbia Milli. They are approximately two months old. An infestation fell on them. They are points like scales, difficult to remove by hand, due to their small size and hidden, that lodge throughout the plant. I put them all a soapy solution. I hope it works, because I don't know what else to do.

Estos son esquejes de Euphorbia Milli. Tienen aproximadamente dos meses. Les cayó una infestación. Son puntos como escamas, difíciles de retirar a mano, por lo pequeño y escondidos, que se alojan en toda la planta. Les coloqué a todas una solución jabonosa. This little plant suddenly appeared, which I thought was lost. It is the Aptenia Cordifolia or better known as dew plant or flowered Jade.

Apareció de repente esta pequeña planta, que creí perdida. Se trata de la Aptenia Cordifolia o más conocida como planta de rocío o Jade florecido.

My strawberry plant also got the pest I just named. But after I remove the completely plagued leaves, I see that after waiting a year it blooms again. Right now it has two tiny flowers.

A mi planta de fresas también le salió la plaga que acabo de nombrar. Pero después que le quito las hojas totalmente plagadas, veo que luego de la espera de un año vuelve a florecer. Ahorita tiene dos flores pequeñitas.
