I'm delighted to share my thoughts on this topic.

Arround 2 years ago, an initiative was launched to keep people engaged on this platform, reading posts carefully and commenting thoughtfully to create meaningful engagement and build connections. The initiative successfully, running for 18 seasons and three weeks, active users increased and the communities grew.

However, human nature is such that when something is repeated too much, interest wanes.

I've noticed some things deeply, like how people don't practically do anything, just recycling the same topic for more than 30 weeks, doing research on the internet, and writing about it in their own words. In reality, different people are writing the same thing in different ways for many weeks, which I don't think is beneficial. I wouldn't want to read the same topic repeatedly myself, and maybe you'll agree. And obviously, if no one reads, there's no point in commenting.

If not Engagement Challenge what should take its place?

Its time to shake things Up and Bring back the Excitement!

We desperately need announcements that inspire content creators and offer a glimmer of hope. Something practical and attractive. I vividly remember a @steemitblog announcement that linked initiatives with specific tags,

and I believe it's time to take action on that. If not, then we need something similar that generates interest. I'm sharing my thoughts because I'm a Steemit lover and want to see it growing.

The decision ultimately lies with Respected The Steemit Team. If they like the idea, let's make it happen!
