RE: Steem Debates #3 : Steemit Engagement Challenge

in Suggestions Club5 months ago

A very interesting question. Thank you for explaining in detail what the Steemit Engagement Challenge is. I already wrote my opinion about this, but I didn't fully understand what the Steemit Engagement Challenge was.

And so, the thought is as follows:

100 weeks, waw!!!

Based on your explanation, it seems to me that the contest communities benefit the most. Whether it helps the users and the Steemit platform itself is a very big question.

To be honest, now Steemit resembles a platform where beginner freelancers who write purely for contests have gathered.
In my opinion, it would be much more interesting if Steemit began to transform into a top platform for cryptoblogging, where authors who are interesting to read have gathered.

No matter how cool it is, reading competitive works is not as interesting as reading blogs. Therefore, I believe that the Steemit Engagement Challenge is something that needs to change.

What changes do I propose:

  • seasonality (once a quarter),
  • contest ideas should be aimed at creating content that can be interesting even after a long time
  • add contests for writing artistic and scientific stories

I especially liked this last part. It sounds interesting and fun at the same time.

It is nice that there are similar discussions where you can freely express your opinion and make proposals.

Life has taught me that if you don't like something, don't criticize, but look for options and make suggestions.

It's like that...and this week and a half of Steem Debates has been very interesting. Surely gentlemen sc01 sc02 are taking note. On the other hand, debates like these and the involvement of so many people speak of the strength of the platform.
