What is it?
Graphic design is the invention of a given message through images, colors, and outlines that capture an audience for something specific, whether it's a brand, a logo, a slogan, a production, or anything else that has to do with a large-scale impact visually speaking. It is a profession with great demand today, because new technologies make it stand out in a much more incredible way than in previous years, the contours of the colors, the creation of new figures and shadows make each designer have a specific type of art so there is a gigantic variability in terms of designs.

Today's society does not take into account what a product offers, but how it looks, this makes the graphic designer not only have a field of work within companies or minor ventures, but also for government campaigns, internet interfaces in development, editorials, even in the media, it is a career whose field of work in very wide, this is due to their present need within each agency that offers something.
But speaking more thoroughly than just its definition and its field of work, in addition to drawing, does it take anything else? The answer is yes, graphic design not only maintains a spectrum in drawing, but also maintains it in new technologies as mentioned before, but there are many options within this field because multimedia design, web design and mobile design are just some of the branches it has within the technological field.

To acquire design knowledge, not only are drawing methods used just to draw, in the same way the contours of colors are used to carry out a stronger stimulus within the psyche of people who see illustration, this knowledge is called "The psychology of color". An example of this is that when dressing we use the color black to look more "elegant" in a similar way you can use the color yellow to demonstrate "expenses" or "money".
And that's not all, since it is not only limited to 2D and static designs, it also has a demanding field in the animation and organization of audiovisual projects. Proof of this are films with 2D animation (A very large part of Disney films could be the perfect example, just to mention one would say 101 Dalmatas) and yet all films of any genre or type need yes or yes from a graphic designer, because the promotional posters and costumes of the cast present in any feature film are not made alone either.
