SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 25
It happened on a day when the sky was covered with fluffy snowflakes, I decided to spend time with the children at the skating rink in Lenin Park. It was a wonderful decision, because the snow falling from the sky created a magical atmosphere.
We approached the skating rink, and immediately my heart was filled with joy. I saw how the little children were riding with admiration, and the adults were laughing merrily and supporting each other. The ice glistened under the rays of the winter sun, and a friendly atmosphere prevailed around. We quickly rented skates and put them on, went out on the ice.
I remember how the children, full of delight, took their first steps on skates. Some of them were a little scared, but I supported them and showed them how to keep their balance better. After falling several times, they laughed and got up, trying to roll again. Their smiles were contagious, and soon I too began to forget about my fears and skated along with them.
The smell of crisp snow was in the air, and the wind gently swayed the snowflakes, creating a fairy tale feeling. Already the falling snow was beginning to cover us with a light white blanket. We rode, glancing at the snow-covered fir trees, which looked like from a winter painting. Every time we fell, the snow bounced gently and laughed with us.
A few hours passed, and we, a little tired but completely happy, decided to take a break. We settled down on a bench and enjoyed hot chocolate and fragrant pies that we bought from a nearby cafe. People were riding around us, children were laughing and throwing snowballs, and it seemed like the whole winter had gathered in this wonderful place.
On this day, we not only went ice skating, but also created a lot of memories that will stay with us forever. We had new adventures ahead of us, but this day at the skating rink in Lenin Park, under the falling snow, will forever remain in our hearts as a symbol of winter magic and the joy of childhood.
