Today was just a stress-free day for me, I wasn't online for long because of poor network in my area. I was so frustrated because I planned to do so many things in steemit today, things like voting, commenting and creating two posts but the day is almost over and it seems is just one post I will create today but anyway there are other better days ahead. I thank @ashkhan for organizing this contest.

In the year 2022 I started working in a supermarket after I finished my exams for third term that year and I needed to be busy that holiday. My father helped me look for a place I will work and I was also searching until my father finally saw a supermarket in which the owner is our church member and he's a young bachelor. I started there as a learner but my boss never paid me any salary till I stopped but he was giving me somethings I will use in the house.
I always go to work by 7:30am everyday and 2pm on Sundays. My boss younger sister came after some months when school has already resumed and my boss couldn't survive alone because I was always going to the supermarket during weekends since school has resumed. His sister came and began to assist him then I met her during one of the weekends and we became friends.
The both of us began to assist my boss, holiday came again and I began to go everyday. I always go back home by 10pm after my boss's sister and her have already packed all the items inside the supermarket and also thrown the refuse away. My boss normally remain in the supermarket till 11pm or 12am. I normally go home with bread sometimes which is an appreciative gift from my boss since he doesn't pay me.
Customers were always fond of me because of how friendly and organized I am, they always want me to sell some products for them and I was happy I was doing well in the business, I learnt alot and my boss was always proud of me. I stopped working there on the first day of June this year because my father was uncomfortable with somethings and he wants me to stay at home and study I have tried in serving my boss for two years.
My boss had to employ someone else and he really needed me though but when I went to home he told me to wait that he will call me when he needs me. My parents weren't ok with the fact that my boss wasn't paying me salary after working with him for two years and they said if am going back to the supermarket is only when my boss has agreed to pay me. I might go back during mid-term break, I might not go back again.
I remember when I was managing a supermarket, yea customers were always on me to sell for them instead of others due to how composed and friendly I was with them.
Good customer service is the best to gain customers and as such I appreciate your effort to winning over your customers heart.

When I had employees, I was always the last one to receive any money. For me, it was crucial that my staff get paid first.
Your parents are right; why must you go back if you don't get paid. You can rather use your time on something else, like.. Steemit! (•ิ‿•ิ)
PS: Hopefully your brother gets to open his own barbershop, then you can go work for him.
Good morning ma 🥰 I have been expecting your comment, welcome. Yeah I wasn't getting paid but my parents has allowed me to go back because my boss has decided to pay me this time around.
Yes I need to also focus more on steemit too and I will keep on trying my best. My brother might open his barbing salon after or during school, I don't know yet but he's preparing for his final exam to enter the university.
What great news that your boss has decided to pay you.
I do hope that this time he keeps to his word.
As for your brother, I am sure it will go well with him and the exams. He is very committed.
