Every person has its own needs . Some people have very high needs and need a lot of resources to reach a certain point , while some just need a handful of help and they get that kick . Society must be built in a way that each and everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Every one must think about each other because the resources that are waste for the one may be everything for the other .

I feel that none of the perspective is wrong . One must contain both the visions and approaches into their head in order to know when to apply what .

Equity

Equity is the act of taking everyone together. A good leader always has this quality. Equity teaches to provide everyone with what is really necessary for them , it can be giving less to someone and more to other . Equity teaches keeping in mind the situations others are going through and treating the most needy first .

Advantages

1. The one who is really needy gets the chance.
2. Resources that are waste for the one and are of no use gets used by the other .
3. Desires and greed is not valued , instead need and position is valued.
4. The one who suffers gets relief and the other strives even harder .
5. Teaches love , empathy and team spirit.

Disadvantages

1. The one who worked hard to reach even higher position feels failed .
2. The hard work of one suffers due to the needs of the other .
3. The other one deserves equally, but his/her right suffers.
4. His feelings also get hurt .

Equality

Equality is the quality that justifies the judgments of a leader at most crucial times . Equality shows impartial nature , it teaches that no matter everyone must be treated equally and get the same amount of resources. It does not care with fact that who worked harder or who sacrificed more or who needs it the most , it only knows the one who wins .. WINS . It is more feelingless unlike equity that teaches to practice empathy .

Advantages

1. Equality brings harmony .
2. It creates a criteria for everyone that they have to work upto a certain limit .
3. In this no one's hard work suffers .
4. The one who works hard gets to enjoy the rewards.

Disadvantages

1. Those who don't have the resources fall back .
2. Those can do even better than everyone remains behind due to lack of guidance and material.
3. Those who need more but can't work in that direction due to scarcity suffers .
4. A tough competition gets build up and the gap between the higher and lower community keeps on increasing.

Personal Opinion

See according to me every good leader has these two qualities of equity and equality . For me it is very difficult to decide that which one would I prefer the most but still I would go with EQUITY because it provides to those who are most needy and equality goes with the pattern and increases the gap between the higher and lower people .

Society must contain a great leader that has both of these qualities and knows when to use each of them . A great leader always knows when to be equal and went to be equitable , he knows when to be empathetic towards his public and when to be strict and provide each and every person with their specific rights .
