Contest: The Debate (Week 47); IS HOME WORK NECESSARY FOR LEARNING?
Assalam O Alaikum.
Hello my steemit friends i hopes you are all doing well and enjoying life. Today i am excited to shared my thoughts on a topic that has been discussed in schools and homes for many years: homework. Its something that students every wheres know very well and we all have our own experienced and feelings about it. Some think homework is a helpful tool to makes learning strongers while others feels it brings more stress than supports lets dives into this interesting debates and see if homework is really necessary or if its just adding extra work to our busy lives.
Do you think homework helps you remember what you learned in school?
One of the main reasons teachers gives homework is to reinforce or helped students remember what they learned in school. Repeating lessons at home can sometimes make information stick better in our minds. When we practice a math problem or review a science chapter we might understand it more deeply. For subjects like math and language where practice is key homework can be a useful way to keep improving.
But not every student learns in the same way. Some students may remember things better by doing hands-on activities or projects rather than by doing worksheets. Also if students feel tired or distracted after a long school day homework might not be as effective as teachers hope. So while homework can help some students remember lessons it might not work as well for everyone.
How do you feel when you have a lot of homework?
Lets be honest having too much homeworks can be overwhelming when students have assignments from multiples subjects it can takes hours to completed them all. This oftened leads to stress especially if there’s also a need to prepare for tests or if students have other activities after school. Many students feel frustrated when they are stuck doing homework instead of relaxing or spending time with family and friends.
Homework pressure can also make students dislike learning. If students start to see schoolwork as something tiring and unending they may lose interest in their studies altogether. This is why it’s important to keep a balance. Too much homework may harm the learning spirit rather than help it grow.
Can you think of ways homework could be made more useful or enjoyable?
Homework does not have to be boring. There are ways to make it more enjoyable and meaningful. For example instead of repeating the same type of exercises teachers could assign creative projects or encourage students to explore topics they find interesting. Group assignments could also make homework fun as students can work together share ideas and learn from each other. Also teachers could think about assigning less repetitive tasks. Instead of giving many math problems or long essays they might focus on quality over quantity asking students to complete just a few questions that make them think deeply.
Some schools are even starting “no homework” days allowing students to relax and reset. This approach could be a great way to reduce stress and bring enjoyment back to learning. If homework is balanced and creative it might feel less like a burden and more like an interesting activity that supports learning.
Conclusion.
The debate about homework has no simple answer. While homework can help some students reinforce their learning too much of it can bring unnecessary stress. If teachers and schools find ways to make homework lighter and more creative it might benefit students without overwhelming them. For me i believe that homework is useful but only in moderation. It should support our learning without taking away our free time or adding too much pressure. With the right balance homework can be a positive part of our education journey.

Hola apreciado amigo. Me gusta que coincidimos en pensar que las tareas refuerzan lo aprendido en clases y que prácticar lo aprendido hace que nos perfeccionemos. Te deseo éxitos y bendiciones
