The Debate (Week 46); AI, Threat Or Benefits To Humanity

Greetings friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a very wonderful day, welcome 🤗 to the debate contest week 46 which is organize by @sahmie.

Today we are going to be debating on the topic "AI; A THREAT or BENEFIT TO HUMANITY?"

This has been one of the most talked-about topics of the 21st century. I can remember back in the days when AI was introduced to us, but now it has grown so rapidly that even unimaginable things can now be achieved through AI.

Most of our grandparents hate and despise AI, claiming that it makes us lazy, while we young people love it so much because it makes life easier and simpler.

But the truth still remains that artificial intelligence (AI) is indeed a threat to humanity, and I will definitely explain my arguments in another post.

Having people like Elon Musk, who have the power and money to create new things, definitely increases the threat percentage as time passes.

• AI makes life easier for us, at the same time replace people's jobs
• AI makes life to be simple which in turn makes unemployment rate to keep increasing instead of decreasing

How, that is definitely your question now, how? Example a factory 🏭 that has approximately 1000 workers with the adoption of AI to make life easier and jobs execution to be much simpler the approximate numbers of workers will definitely decrease to 200

Now with that 200 people will be happy working less and earning big, but what about the remaining 800 jobless people where will they go and how will they survive the hardship.

Another example is the issue of self driving cars all thanks to Elon musks invention many drivers has lost their jobs and returning back to poverty, security cameras and proximity sensors taking the duty of security men.

As cool and nice AI is most especially the benefits it brings on the table it is still a threat to humanity coupled with the above mentioned problems

This will be the end of my debate and I hope that I have successfully been able to convince you all that Ai is a threat to humanity
