My country, Indonesia, has a tropical climate or is located on the equator, so it only knows two seasons, namely dry and rainy. The seasons in Indonesia change over six months, the rainy season starts in October and ends in March, while the dry season starts from April to September,
Image sourceso if you have questions about summer or winter then I'm honestly confused about how to answer, because During my life I have only experienced two seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season.
However, if you look at the weather conditions, the summer season is almost the same as the dry season, as well as the rainy season is almost the same as winter in my country, Indonesia.
So if I had to choose, I would choose the dry/hot season instead of choosing winter, because in my country winter is the same as the rainy season, because in the rainy season there are lots of big floods in my area which result in many disasters for the community.There are also many other reasons, such as the cessation of people's activities who cannot leave their homes because of heavy rain. Meanwhile, the hot/dry season also has a negative impact on society, such as drought in several places, but it can still be helped by other alternatives such as providing sufficient water during the dry season, as well as hot weather which can be overcome by using fans and air conditioning for Public .

The benefits of the dry season can also be utilized in the public works sector. one of them is repairing damaged roads and asphalting will run smoothly during the dry season because in areas where the roads may not yet be paved, during the dry season the ground conditions will of course be harder without puddles and mud. So that in the transportation sector, people will also benefit more when carrying basic commodities and other necessities will be marketed smoothly and the economic sector will also have an impact.
Daily community activities also have a positive side that can be utilized during the dry season, not just waiting for the government to take action, namely cleaning the water ditches. There will be less standing water in the gutters during the dry season, making it easier to remove rubbish and mud deposits, so that when the rainy season arrives this will help reduce the potential for puddles or flooding. Of all the things mentioned above, during the dry season it is fun to fly kites because it won't be disturbed by rain.
During the dry season, the weather tends to be stable so that potential disasters that usually occur in the rainy season, such as landslides and floods, do not occur in the dry season. It is also safer for fishermen to go to sea to fish during the dry season because the weather will be clear and good for navigation.
Hot weather often invites people to get out of the house and spend more time outdoors. Activities such as walking, cycling, swimming or picnicking become more attractive when the weather is hot. This is not only good for physical health, but also provides an opportunity to experience the beauty of nature.

During the dry season, dry and hot conditions that occur can increase the risk of forest and land fires. These fires can damage the environment, threaten lives and disrupt daily life, especially animals in the forest, but all of this can be overcome by increasing public awareness to protect nature from fires by avoiding things that can cause forest fires.Natural water sources such as rivers and lakes can dry up, threatening the supply of clean water for communities and agriculture, but in my area a large water dam has been built by the government to provide clean water for residents when the 6 month dry season arrives. The negative impact of the drought is also on agriculture, farmers are disturbed by lack of water, causing food crises and economic instability.other effects: dust and air pollution from forest fires can harm human health, especially in individuals who have respiratory problems, pollution The air in urban areas is increasing, smoke from vehicles will damage clean air, and that is not good for health.

Wow i love the climate in your country and the timing between the rainy and dry season. Our country varies though. The rainy season begins in May to September and dry Season from October to April in northern Nigeria. Thank you my friend and wish you the best in this contest
Northern Nigeria and Indonesia have the same seasons, they only have two seasons, namely the dry season and the rainy season, once I even imagined that it was snowing in my country but yes, that was just a dream hehe

Musim hujan merupakan musim yang sangat menyenangkan, dikarenakan kita bisa banyak menghabiskan waktu berkumpul bersama keluarga, dan kekurangan nya cuma satu, yaitu orang yang memiliki kesibukan diluar tidak bisa beraktivitas dengan normal, dan itu merugikan suatu pihak, akan tetapi kedua musim tersebut sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjaga keseimbangan siklus makhluk hidup.

In my opinion, summer is better because it only lasts 3 months a year, because if the rainy season is only 3 days it will cause flooding disasters in my area.

I totally understand your confusion about the summer and winter seasons since you're accustomed to the rainy and dry seasons in Indonesia. It's interesting how the weather conditions in your country align with the seasons of my country Nigeria.
We can definitely say the hot/dry season is the summer season as that is practically what summer is about even though we can't say the rainy season is the same as winter. You've there pick a very good choice, bottom line is for us to enjoy these seasons as best as we can.

Nigeria and Indonesia only have two seasons each year, the most important of these two seasons have their own characteristics, but if it rains I'm really worried there will be flooding.I feel that every December at the end of the year.

Your country Indonesia is located on the tropical location. You said there you have only two seasons; one is Rainey and other is dry. Even you say you don't know what is winter and what is summer. For you you Rainey season is winter and dry is summer.
