SFS Contest Week 7 | Shocking Moments

It's a pleasure on my path to share with you all my entries in this week's contest which is titled "Shocking Moments" which was organized by @ashkhan. It is an interesting contest and I would love to drop my entry ASAP.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @lhorgic, @bossj23, and @josepha to join this contest in this community today and share their participation as well, I do hope to see and read your entries as well.

It was on a Monday morning when I got a call from the place of my work that I needed to come to the farm immediately. I was surprised at the call and I wondered why my attention was needed at such a crucial time. Normally I go to work by 8:00 a.m, but I got this call at about 5:00 a.m.

So I hurridly took my bath and then brushed my teeth I couldn't eat breakfast because there was no time to do that. So I went out and picked and bike to the farm it was a journey of about 15km. As I was going many thought came to my mind and among which was what they problem could be.

Immediately I arrived the farm, I saw the farm and many others standing and looking at me and then I came and then the questions that gazed at me first was where are the birds in the farm. I was so confused because while living the work place yesterday I locked everywhere and the entire birds where present and healthy.

With that question, I rushed to the rooms where the birds are usually kept and behold everywhere was very empty as if there were never birds in the room. I got confused and shock because I have never seen a thing like that in my life. I have been taking care of this birds for almost 2 years now and I have never heard that they birds are missing.

With the shock in me I went back to the farm owner and those standing their to ask what exactly happened in the place. He said to me someone also called him and told him that they saw a vehicle at about 4 a.m., living the area and at first they taught it was me bringing food for the chicken but because it was too early, it made them suspicious and when the vehicle left they had to come and check only to see that everything has been taking.

So that was exactly what happened. I was shocked at what have happened and I told the man that I have no idea about what has happened. So this was what happened to me and got me so shock and till this moment I still haven't gotten over it. The man believed me because I have been working with him for a while now.

Lesson Learnt

It is always good for you to be straightforward in whatever thing you do. If my character was questionable for any reason, I should be in the police custody by this time. But the owner of the farm trusted me and then decided to make more search and tracing on those who really carried out the act. So that is what this story is all about.
