Greetings to my dear Steemian friends, how are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah I am also well. Today I am here to participate in this "SFS Contest! Picture of the Day Week 20" Competition run by Steem Fashion and Style Community Moderator @ashkhan. This is a very nice competition where you have to share a picture of the day. I am happy to have this nice competition. So let's get started-----

Origin of this picture:- As seen in the above picture, the species of black locust is Neurothemys tullia or Pieddan Skimmer. The scientific name of this black grasshopper is Gryllus bimaculatus. It is commonly known as "Two-spotted cricket". This grasshopper is very popular and often used in various research and observations.

This black locust is usually seen from March to November. Grasshoppers are mainly herbivores. Prefers to eat easily digestible plants, grass or young tender branches. Besides, mosquitoes and other small insects are their food. Most grasshoppers feed on a variety of plant species. Some species feed on specific plants.

The beauty of this black grasshopper is a wonderful gift of nature. This small grasshopper is famous for its extraordinary variety of black and white colors. The spots and patterns on the grasshopper's wings are mesmerizing, emerging as natural patterns.

These black grasshoppers usually sit mostly on the ground in wood or on green leaves, which makes their black and white color more attractive. These black grasshoppers flash their wings as they move between flowers.

Also, there are different types and types of these black locusts, which adds to their beauty and diversity. These grasshoppers make a spectacular presence in nature and in gardens.

To know more about these beautiful creations of nature, we can observe their lifestyle and behavior. These wonderful animals are a special part of the beauty of nature and make the environment around us more beautiful.

When we were children, we used to put the glue on the head of the jute stick and enjoy the adventure of catching these grasshoppers. How happy I was to catch this grasshopper. Those of us who have spent our childhood in the village know the fun of catching these grasshoppers in the village. And I originally went to photograph flowers in a flower nursery near our area. I saw this black grasshopper while doing flower photography. So without delay I did some photography of this grasshopper. Which I have shared in this post. Hope you all like my photography of this black colored grasshopper.
