Tell Us About Your's Favorite Lotion For Dry Skin In Winter Season

Every season in a year must also have a dry season, a season where lips crack, voice become voiceless, skin start to crack and wound on the skin is like adding pepper to one's eyes. This occurs during dry season. Dry season in my country is followed by Harmattan and not winter although dry skin is followed by winter seasons. During this season, majorly have their coats, house fire, heavy clothes and socks, cream and lip balm intact to care for themselves during this period. One of the things I face a lot in winter season is dry skin. The below shows the cream I do rub to feel moist.

My favourite lotions for dry skin in winter is Vaseline and shear butter. These two lotions works well in making me feel moist in winter season. These lotions are characterized by its hardness, thickness and ability to last on one's skin for longer hours. If I were to use normal lotion that's watery and not thick, during winter it will dry off easily when rubbed on the skin. That's why I avoid lotions that aren't thick during these seasons.

These lotions has unique properties such as natural fat extracted from Shea tree nuts, vitamins and fatty Acids and they are good moisturizer even for the lips. These lotions prevent cracks on one's skin and it also provides nourishments against harsh weather condition during winter. You don't need to wear socks. It is a good hydrating agent and soften one's skin as well. I can recall my mom saying she do use these lotions in massaging my body when I was a lad. Vaseline prevents moisture from evaporating into the dry winter sir. So these two lotions are what I use to prevent dry skin during winter.

Although it's specifically for winter season as it helps chase dryness away caused by winter, we can use it in other seasons as body lotion . Some people use these lotions to make their skin glow and become soft. So it's not until winter we can use it. The use of vaseline is used by most nursing mothers in caring for their babies. These lotions doesn't have reactions as they are gotten naturally that's why it's recommended for use in any season but moderately especially during summer to avoid heat and sweat.

I'll recommend these lotions for those with dry skins because of the following reasons.

• Unlike normal lotions that makes one smell good, these lotions doesn't really have the nice scent normal lotions has but it's very good at sealing in moisture compared to the former. These lotions are also natural and thick which creates a barrier for water loss and nourishes the skin as well. It makes one's skin hydrated that's why it should be used by those who have dry skins. If applied on the body, it make take a day before that person runs dry.

• You don't need to run it much compared to how the normal lotions are rubbed almost frequently before it holds the body. Just a touch with your fingers and then rubbing on the palms can go a long way into taking you for the day.

• During harsh weather like winter, the thickness of these lotions serves as protective shield from cold which prevents moisture from the surface of the skin. If you rub these lotions during winter season, you don't need to wear big clothes because you're already covered by the lotion.
