Assalamu Alaikum steemian friends. Hope you all are well. By the grace of Allah I am also well. Today I'm back to participate in the Picture of the Day organized by this community Admin @ashkhan. I will share the best pictures of the day and write detailed comments about the pictures. So let's get started, stay with me.

The picture I shared today has a story which is a familiar winter story. The winter morning fog has not yet completely cleared. I was walking along the road next to the brick kiln, all around was silent, only the light glow of the brick kiln fire and the smell of burnt earth could be heard in the distance. An auto rickshaw was moving slowly in front of me in a blanket of fog. The light of the headlights was fading into the dust of the road. Looking ahead, I saw a small pole on the side of the road and a bird standing on one leg was sitting on it.

The bird was silently looking around as if lost in meditation on a winter morning. Small droplets of fog have accumulated on his feathers and he is looking at the sun with his head slightly tilted. The sun, hidden in a corner of the sky, was slowly peeking out, and the surrounding fog was turning golden little by little with its soft light. I stood still. This moment is like a picture, silent and calm yet vivid. Suddenly the sound of the auto rickshaw became a little louder and the bird got startled and flew away across the fog. I gazed in fascination as if this winter morning had told me a silent story, a story of a small dream wrapped in a blanket of mist. I immediately captured this picture. So that was my picture of the day.
