Hello my beautiful 😍 steemians...
Warmest greetings to you all, I'm so delighted to participate on this amazing contest organised by my most adorable friend and mentor @alexanderpeace in this community.

Tell us the incident that happened to you or others or that you heard

..My Life as an Orphan..

I lost my father when I was just five years old, don't even know how he looks or anything tangible about him, to worst it all he doesn't even owned a single piece of picture that I may probably use it to console myself whenever I think about him or missed him😭.

I'm actually the second born of my parents two boys and two girls, his death has scattered us around looking for greener pastures, my uncles adopted me, while others went their own way looking for how to survive Life.

My stay with my uncle has been hell on earth, loaded with all kinds of chores, farming among others, the wife kept rendering us useless and worthless before the community, to the extent my uncle chase me away from home, until my mother and elder brother came and begged for me to stay, they were like forcing me to stay with them. But all to the glory of God.

I'm lifted higher to the glory of God.

Despite staying with my uncle but yet it's my mother who has been the one paying my school fees, even where I went to learn my Salon skills she's the one who sponsored me, coz my uncles for them to pay my school fees and other necessary needs they were thinking, I might end up becoming a worthless child or might probably not been of help to them someday.

To be honest, you and I know how hard for your child to live under somebody's care, coz it's never easy, there's so much maltreatment (some) and all kinds of insults you will be experiencing everyday talk's not supposed to be said to you, you will definitely experience it, indeed that's what I've experienced during my stay with my uncle.

The impact it had on you and what you learnt from it.

Well, my profound impact was that I was able to withstand all sorts of obstacles and storms of life, while living with them, it actually taught me great lessons to be self independent carter for my needs, I became more wiser while living under my uncles, in the house we were actually three who stay with them, but it was only me that was able to finished up my secondary education, now in National Open University, Abuja, also have skills acquisition (hair dressers)achievement1, the rest ran away they couldn't finish their primary and secondary education, (life was harder for them to overcome, only the strongest survive, not saying I am the champion but that's the reality of life).

On my brother graduation from Nasarawa State university keffi.✅victory achieved.

My strength and resilience has really helped me a lot throughout my difficulties of life, however, I became the great person I am today despite the storm of life, and right now there's nothing my uncle will do in his family without seeking my advice and support from me, I must say I am their backbone right now, the only shoulder they can lean on, although they have a daughter but she has never helped them, the way I did in their entire life. The sky shall bear me witness that and they themselves testify concerning that as well.

Reflection

Still me and my brother ☺️... All pictures on iPhone XR.

One thing I learned about life more and even from this story is that, we should learn to be good to every child under our care, no special treatment to our children than the one under our care because you never can tell who will become your saviour on the course of life, coz every child is important, so treat everyone with pride and dignity coz Tomorrow is surely pregnant you don't know what it'll give birth to!!!.
To this end, permit me to invite @goodybest @jyoti-thelight and @simonnwigwe to also participate.

Thank you all for reading through my blog today, I'm superb grateful 🙏🙏🙏@mar-tha.
