AI has made life easier for a lot of people and it also helps me a lot as a web developer! It helps me finish my work faster and also do better work. In this post, I wanna share how AI helps me with web dev and how big companies like Amazon use AI to save time and money.
1. AI Speeds Up Repetitive Tasks

When I code, I have lots of tasks that I do again and again, like testing and fixing mistakes. Before AI, I spent so many hours doing these things, and it was super slow. But now, with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, I finish in just a few minutes! Something that took 3 hours now takes only 10 minutes. So it’s really a big time saver!
2. AI Makes Reports for Me

I also use AI to make reports and track my work. Before, I had to do it all by myself, but now AI does it fast. It gets all the info and makes a report in minutes. Sometimes AI even finds problems I missed. This helps me a lot, so I can focus on other stuff that is more important.
3. Amazon Saves Time with AI!

Did you know Amazon uses AI to save time and money? According to a blog on Digiday, Amazon's AI saves 4,500 years of work and $260 million every year by automating tasks! Just like I use AI to finish my work faster, Amazon uses it too, to help their developers work quicker and make fewer mistakes.
4. AI Helps Me Be Creative

AI doesn’t just save time, it helps me be more creative too. Instead of doing boring stuff, AI takes care of it, so I can think of new ideas and solve bigger problems. It's like having someone to help with the little things, while I focus on the big things.
And that's why AI is a big help for humanity, it helps me as a developer, makes work faster and easier and also more fun! 😊

Do you see any risks or downsides for AI?
Particularly as a software engineer do you think AI might start to replace the jobs of programmers?
No, he helps us finish tasks quickly, and he introduces us to another type of programming, like programming to handle repetitive tasks. As I mentioned, the CEO of Amazon said they save us 4,500 years of programming, but they did not mention that it could replace any programming jobs.(Also, I don't believe there is anything that can surpass the human brain.)

Las ventajas que tiene la IA son fascinante pero, tampoco hay que hacer caso omiso a las desventajas que esta tiene ya que, incluso entre todas los beneficios que resaltas en tu publicación vemos que, hay una proyección al reemplazo humano y justo aquí es donde me pregunto: ¿Está bien que una tecnología se proyecte de esa manera? Porque a mí parecer no debería ser así sino, en trabajar junto al humano.

I appreciate your insightful opinion! I wholly concur with you. As many historical examples demonstrate, the technology of artificial intelligence carries great potential as well as great dangers. An excellent illustration would be the case of dynamite💥 invented by Alfred Nobel to promote safe excavation and construction work🏗️, but later adapted for purposes of war and terror. In a similar way, we can all agree that artificial intelligence is a tool that has the potential to change our way of life for the better – however, we should, as always, proceed with caution and use it properly so that it works with people 🤝 and not instead of them or worse, pushover aggression and violence.
I trust technology is meant to enhance what we can do together, but there shouldn’t be lack of a human presence. I wish you great success too! And a hug for you too 💚
