Hello friends of Steem Fashion &Style, seeing this contest made me smile because it was a debate we had in school. Some people were against homeworks, others weren't.

All sides has its advantages and disadvantages but we always have to look at the side with an overwhelmingly positives over the other in every argument.

In this contest, I will always support the necessity of homework in learning.

From when I was a pupil, and then to a student, we have always had homeworks given to us by our teachers/lecturers.
I can remember this helped us to do additional research and study more on the topic. It helped to bolster a good retentive memory on the topic thereby helping us write our exams well.

Homeworks are tasks or activities given to students or pupils, which are to be done outside the classroom.

• Homeworks are very necessary for learning even in the 21st century. As a classroom teacher, and also a student, I can attest to the fact that after learning is done, sometimes we get to forget some things taught in the class. Homeworks helps us to research and study more. And it helps us to learn better at home.

• Some pupils/students wouldn't have opened their books if not because of homeworks. Homeworks helps the pupils to learn independently, this will help in making the student think better.

• Homeworks are channels were student go over what they had learnt in class...this will help with retention for a long term.

In the end, Homeworks are very necessary for learning and should be adopted properly.

Just like it is said, too much of everything isn't good.
Food is good for the body but eating too much of food might cause vomiting or nausea. Vomiting doesn't take away the importance of food but it just shows that there should be a limit to everything including good/important things.

• Having a lot of homework is tiring and might cause the student to feel uninterested or tired.
  While in school, I enjoyed doing my homeworks but always got worked up whenever it was much. The human system has a capacity and going beyond this, poses problem for the mind.

• Much homeworks can be unproductive as it will tire down the student.

I do feel tired whenever I have much homework. Homeworks should always be concise and straight to the point...this will help the kids and also give them time to rest.

Homeworks could be enjoyable in a lot of ways, it all depends on the type of students you have.

There are some students who learn better visually, while some learn better from just sitting and listening to the teacher. Others might be solo learners who love homeworks so much.

In all, to make homeworks enjoyable, the teacher must try to make the homework:

• Concise and straight to the point

• Homework should not be much to avoid tiring down the students

• Use of the internet should also be allowed sometimes..students love a Google search.

• Having a reward system for students who attempt and do their packages correctly...this will make it enjoyable and they will all be serious.

• Sometimes sightseeing can help too.

Homeworks are really necessary for learning and it should always be incorporated into learning but the pupils shouldn't be bulked down with much homeworks.
