Life on Steemit, I can say, comes with different and complex sides. For the past few days, I sit down and get angry at myself for a reason which is being not recently active on the Steemit platform. Should I say I have been lazy to participate in contest on this platform or I decided to take a break from here. These two opinions/questions are not related to my absence on Steemit...
My present life on Steemit is depreciating and I currently don't like it. Although this is likely because of my current offline schedule. What could be the things(s) that is currently reducing my time and presence on Steemit? Let's explore it together as we discuss "Life On Steemit Platform Week: 2"
The amount of time that a person spends on Steemit can vary greatly depending on their schedule, goals and interest. Many users may just spend few minutes each viewing contents while some may spend hours on the platform, interacting with the? fellow users(upvoting, commenting and posting).
It is very important to find a balance between your offline life and that on Steemit. My life on Steemit in the last month as well as time back can be said to imaginably or visibly left my presence known. Before now, I used to spend almost 6 hours everyday on Steemit where I interact with other steemians. It was a lovely time doing that because I've got the time to post, meet new people, boost my steem power, reputation and presence.
In the last few days (a week precisely) I will honestly say that I haven't logged into my Steemit account. You may be wondering why? Here is why...
If you had been following up with my blog, you may have noticed in some of my post how I have been waiting to be in school after been given admission. Oh yeah, I have been admission to study Microbiology in a Nigeria University and the stress of completing my registration processes and attending lectures leaves no time for me to be on Steemit. But I promise to work on it to find a balance on Steemit and my school..
Of course yes. 'Working' on Steemit has helped me a lot in Life. Mentioning them, Steemit has helped me to;
- Learn New Things and especially advance my crypto experience.
- Meet New People
- Gradually becoming financially stable.
- It has kept me busy and leaves no space in me to do something not good. We all know the saying - "An idle man is a devil's workshop". Steemit has made me active and not idle.
- Express the virtue of patience and consistency.
- Support people.
- Improve my writing, conversational and communication skills both in terms of written or speech.
I definitely do enjoy working on Steemit! It's been an amazing experience so far from the month of September 2023 to this very moment, February, 2024. Like the above mentioned, working on Steemit has helped me a lot. Upvotes are guaranteed is one thing I always have at the back of my mind. If I should write a content which is well presentable, if it deserves a support, it will be given. The lack of votes on my post has never discouraged me and so I will continue to strive hard to the top.
This platform is very entertaining, exciting and continuously evolving. I can beat my chest and say that people who are not users of this platform are missing a lot.. I've been able to meet amazing people through Steemit such as my humble mentor @bossj23, my friend @alli001, Ma @ngoenyi and many more. The creative and collaborative environment is what makes me like Steemit the more.
In conclusion, working/life on Steemit has been a very positive experience. Despite my current tight schedule, I'm willing to make it up in the coming weeks. Steemit has taught and helped me on very strategic things to understand and apply in life. The improvement and continual evolvement, shows that there is not sign of it slowing down! I highly recommend Steemit to anyone who wants a platform where he/she can express themselves and connect with the outside on a web 3.0 social media platform.
