The Debate (no.45); Homework is necessary for learning
I really appreciate @sahmie for posting this here. I appreciate the readers too—beautiful Steemians.
Good day moderators, accurate time keepers, distinctive panel of judges, co-debators and my fellow Steemians. My username is @deetalka6 and I'm here to propose on the notion which says Is homework necessary for learning? with the following points of mine.
- Homework is truly the basic for sustainable learning ability.
Irrespective of how diligents or skillful you are, without assigning yourself to focus on, you may not be able to build yourself effectively. To become whatever you wish, personal development is required.
Home work is an assignment given to you either by a school teacher or by yourself.
I can discipline myself not to watch any movie for today and I stand by that. What I'm doing is my own homework. And as long as I'm able to do that as life continues, I'm beginning to build myself to respond to development and growth.
A child who does a particular thing over and over again is doing his homework. That may be what the child loves and the only way to develop that ability is to demonstrate consistency.
- Homework is an evidence that passes through a life process.
To become a nurse or whatever you figure your passion into, the evidence is the homework you will go through.
- Homework is 100% necessary for learning.
I haven't seeing anyone becoming great without indirect or direct homework. The popular Tiktoker we are celebrating today #peller discover this few years ago and started working on it. He assign time for himself and consistently pursue that thing and today, he is one of the famous.
In addition:
Yes. Homework helps me remember what I learn in school. The brain is structured in a way that whatever we learn, without a consistent replay of what was taught, there's a possibility of forgettance. So, the more you practice what we learn, the more we build the brain elasticity to accommodate more knowledge.
I feel purposeful. Some folks would say this is trashy or stressful. I don't think it's stressful. Because I believe on building capacity. You can't really build capacity when you're subjected to a single assignment. If the ability to build 14 assignment under one day is easier to accomplish, there's a possibility of doing a hardwork and fulfilling the mandate within days.
Yes.
- Don't force it on your children.
Forcing things on them makes it bored to them. Allow them to do it the way they can. They can actually become better images with that pattern.
