The Debate (Week 47); I AM IN SUPPORT THAT HOMEWORK IS NECESSARY FOR LEARNING

Homework is a learning or task outside the class work it's done in the comfort of your home. I think how work helps you remember what you have learnt in school because it helps for a better understanding and retention as you open your book or research again at home. Some people don't assimilate immediately in the classwork. They have to go back home on their own, sit in a quiet place, and open their book again for a better understanding. So homework allows them to visit their class work again, and while they repeat this task, it helps for long-term memory.
In children, home work creates an avenue for involving the parents or guardians to support a child in his or her school work. I feel happy helping my kids in their homes. It makes me know how better they understand their class work, and I teach them other easier ways to get their work done if the way they teach them in school is difficult for them to understand.
Homework also improves independent learning and getting new information to existing knowledge. When you research and learn on your own, you learn more of what was not taught in the class.

It could be tiring or stressful when you have a lot of homework what you have to do is draft a schedule of how you are going to carry out this task(homework) split it on the time you will be attending to each of them, take a break at some point to relax and attend to your personal life. In this process, if there is a need to adjust your schedule, go ahead and do that but be focused on meeting your deadline.
As a parent, you need to support the children to keep to the schedule list of doing their homework, and when you feel the homework is so numerous beyond the child, make sure to communicate with the school or teachers to know why it's so and if there is need to reduce the loads of homework.
Yes, take breaks and relax, engaging in other fun activities to ease off. Once you notice that fatigue or less concentration is setting in, just stop and do fun things you love doing, like eating, engaging in a general life discussion with people, dancing, playing music, or doing whatever will help you relax.

Homework can also be enjoyable when you engage in team work. When you interact and listen to other people's ideas, it keeps you active and encourages critical thinking that gives birth to fresh ideas.
Recognizing efforts by placing a reward makes homework enjoyable. I remember sometime my child told me: his teacher promised to give candy to whoever did well in a task they were given. It made him put in so much effort to do well so he could get the Candy reward.
In summary, with my points, I support that homework is necessary for learning because it helps improve new information to existing knowledge from the classroom. We can also manage a lot of home work load by having a schedule list which help break or divide it into different timing so we can attend to other personal duties. We can also enjoy or make home fun by engaging in team work and placing some rewards to students as it motivates students' academic success
