''SFS Contest Week 34 | Drawing Contest | Draw Watermelon''
I hope all of you must be doing very well at this time. I have chosen to take part in the "SFS Contest Week 34 | Drawing Contest | Draw Watermelon" that @hive-126193 is hosting. The process of drawing the watermelon was fulfilling because it allowed me to express the summer vibrations which the bright colors along with happiness and delight carry throughout the year. Hope you all like it.
Materials Used:
✅White Paper
✅Pencil
✅Eraser
✅Colors (Bottle Green, Parrot Green, Red, Brown, and Black)
✅Black Pen
Step 1: Drawing the Shape
The first step begins with sketching the principal watermelon with my pencil. I draw an oval to achieve a realistic appearance for the shape.
Step 2: Drawing another half cut watermelon
The second part of my design includes a half-moon shaped set of watermelons intended to reveal their moisture.
Step 3: Adding Details
I have placed a stem at the top of the entire watermelon to create a fresh-picked impression.
I incorporate the watermelon pattern on its surface according to real appearances when adding detail to the piece. For the half-cut section I insert small seeds inside for a more lifelike quality.
Step 4: Coloring the Watermelon
The enjoyable task involves putting color into the final scene. I start by filling the outer watermelon surface with bottle green color. The watermelon will acquire its fresh deep appearance from this process.
I next apply a small amount of parrot green color to highlight the outer watermelon surface in order to achieve natural appearance. The two shades of green blend beautifully.
Inside the half-cut watermelon that I picked up, I move. I fill in the section using the red color so the section will look juicy and fresh.
Brown colored for the stem to have a natural woody texture. I take black color, carefully fill in the seeds inside the cut watermelon and make them stand out.
Step 5: Final Touches
I take a black pen and outline the entire drawing to make my drawing look even better. This allows you to define the shapes and provide a finishing touch. Here it is now, my watermelon drawing is complete! 🍉✨

¡Holaaa amiga!🤗
