Explanation

---

✅ Explain what you draw in your own words.

Our environment is continuously getting polluted. Due to this pollution, our lives are at risk. Pollution is destroying the greenery around us. Through my drawing, I want to highlight this theme today. One side of my drawing will depict a green environment, while the other side will show a polluted environment.

🔹Step I

To create this drawing, I first take a pencil and write my username and the date on a white sheet of paper. Then, using a ruler and a compass, I draw a circle on the paper. Now, I divide the circle in half with the help of a scale.

🔹Step II

The left side of this divider will represent a polluted environment, while the right side will represent a clean environment. Since the left side is polluted, I make the outline of the circle a bit rough and uneven. Now, I draw the outline of a tree trunk at the bottom and create the upper part of the tree towards the right side.

🔹Step III

Start to color in the left side

On the left side of the circle, I draw the branches and twigs of the tree. The drawing is now complete. Now, I will start coloring.

🔹Step IV

For coloring, I first use a greyish pencil color for the polluted environment on the left side. Then, I color the tree's branches and twigs black to make it look like the leaves have fallen off, leaving the tree lifeless. Now, I apply a combination of black and brown colors to the roots and soil at the bottom of the tree. The coloring of the left side is now complete.

🔹Step V

Now, I will start coloring the right side, which represents a green environment. First, I apply yellow color to the upper part of the tree where the leaves are and also to the lower part. Then, over the yellow, I use green acrylic color.

🔹Step VI

	Lightly using blue color

Using tag

Next, I lightly apply blue color around the tree on the right side. Looking at the right side of the picture, you can surely see how beautiful and pure this green environment appears. The coloring of my drawing is now complete. Now, I capture a picture of it with a tag.

✅ How long did take to complete your drawing and how do you feel about it.

It took me approximately 50 minutes to complete today’s drawing. Initially, I thought it might be difficult, but once I started and completed the drawing, I didn’t find it that hard. That’s probably why it took me less time. After completing this work, I felt extremely satisfied because I believe I have successfully portrayed the current environmental situation through my drawing.

To provide proof of my drawing, I capture a selfie with it. For today’s contest, I wanted to share something different. With that intention, I checked some videos on social media and YouTube. Then, I got the idea for today’s drawing.
