Contest: Stories, Learnings and Reflections #01
Today I will be participating in the Steem fashion contest.
It is actually quite so certain that there have been a whole lot of stories and events that have happened to me in time past and today I will be sharing some with us today.
Tell us the incident that happened to you or others or that you heard
Even though this event have happened many years ago, but it is still still very fresh in my memories and I will be sharing it with us. It was around 3-4 years ago when I was able to see an act of kindness been rendered to someone very close to me. That particular act of kindness I was able to witness actually goes a long way to change how I actually view and believe about generosity.
There was this day where I was at a market. During those period in my life, I was struggling with finances a lot and so I just decided to get some handful of fruit that Faithful day. I came across an elderly woman at the market where she was counting her money, as she was counting her money, she discovered that the money she was holding was not enough. Before she could turn, right in my very eyes, I saw a man offering her some cash so that she can also buy her own fruit.

For many of us, we might be looking at it as just something so simple. But that simple act of kindness really touched me. At that particular point even before buying my own orange, I discovered that kindness is not when you have in abundance, the little you have you can actually show an act of kindness to people around you.
The more I reflect on that little act of kindness, it always makes me to remember that I should actually be doing much more than what I am doing right now. And one of the things the kindness act did to me is the fact that I should not wait till when I have in abundance before I show an act of kindness to people around. The little I have, I can actually demonstrate an act of kindness to it.

Talking about what I have learnt and how I should apply it, I have also decided to start showing an act of kindness to people who needs it around me. Now I did not need to wait till when I have enough before I offer and hand of assistance, the little I have, I can offer it to people around that needs the act of kindness.
At that particular time, it might looks so small most especially to many of us but one of the things that I have come to discover is that it is not small. That small act of kindness can go a long way to touch the heart of the person I am showing an act of kindness to.
