I have recently discovered this community and it is my first time participating in the site with the Talk about your favorite writer contest by user @ steemit-network. Something wonderful for me because I am passionate about literature and writing. even better if I can say who is my favorite writer. The person who always has stolen my heart with how to write.
This writer was born on September 13, 1916 in the city of Cardiff, Wales. In his career as a writer he is especially remembered for his stories for children and youth using irony, black humor and / or macabre texts. This motive made him a memorable author of various stories internationally. In my experience, I grew up watching the movie Matilda on television, it is a classic. I am sure that many of you, like me, have also seen it more than once.
However, when I had the opportunity to read the book, I fell in love.

As you can see, the first few paragraphs wrap you in the book, like a comforting hug that will always be a shame to let go, as soon as we are on the last pages.
Dahl was an extraordinary writer.Someone who will always be memorable. A man who helps many parent if they want to introduce a child to the world of literature.
I read it when I was eleven and I remember having laughed, Intrigue, exalts, angry at many times. Even now that I can say that I know almost without thinking the whole story, as the first day. He still continues to transmit the same feelings as the first time.
