Today, I will talking about my favourite writer.
My favourite writer's name is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She was born on September 15th 1977.
She's a Nigerian writer. She's from Enugu state, Nigeria. Chimamanda is a feminist. He started writing at the age of 10. Notable among her works are:

1. The purple hibiscus
2. Half a Yellow Sun
3. Americanah
4. We Should All Be Feminist
5. The Things Around Your Neck
   My favourite among her works is "The Purple Hibiscus". This was a first novel in 2003.

I read it during my secondary school. It talks a family of Eugene who was a die-hard obsessed Catholic member. He was a rich man. He treated his family badly especially his father (papa nnukwu) and treated people outside very nice especially the Catholics. He does not like his father because he is a pagan and so on. The names of his children is kambili and jaja.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was won so many awards like the

1. Commonwealth Writer's Prize
2. PEN Printer Prize
3. International Nonino Prize
4. Orange Broadband Prize
5. O. Henry Prize and many more.
