Three books on Vertical Gardening (free PDF downloads)
I don't need to tell you the importance of growing your own food in these uncertain times, but what I do need to tell you is that anyone living in a home likely has unused grow space. Vertical gardening provides the answer for so many of us and even if you have plenty of space these techniques are still worth learning.
How can you download these books?
Set up an account with LBRY here if you don't already have one.
(this way you will earn LBC every time you view my content)
Follow these links to get directly to the books:
- Vertical Gardening: Grow Up, Not Out, for More Veg & Flowers in Much Less Space
- Vertical vegetable gardening: a living free guide
- Vertical Vegetables & Fruit: Creative Gardening Techniques for Growing Up in Small Spaces
If the PDFs doesn't load immediately hit the icon in the middle.
Once uploaded please be sure to save on your device, preferably something small, portable and easily chargeable, like a tablet or decent sized smart phone.
THE NEED FOR SOLAR
If we are going to ensure that we have always have access to these books (no matter what is happening in the world) we must have a solar charger for our device.
It is for this reason that I ask you to save the books on your device rather than assuming they will always be available to you through my LBRY account.
Fortune favours the prepared.
The JouleStick
I have seen many solar products in my time and this I can confidently say is one of the best because it is practical, functional, durable & inexpensive. It can be a torch or a lamp and most importantly, it can charge your device.
When enough of you indicate to me you are interested I will buy a box of these JouleSticks and sell them on to you for the equivalent of around $50 (plus postage), payable in fiat or crypto.
I want to mention also that the JouleStick is compatible with the JouleBox, should you ever decide to expand on your kit.
The JouleBox
By the way, I made both of the above films and even took the JouleBox for a test run on an off grid island in Indonesia. My product review can be seen here. Bottom line: I seriously love these products!
Please let me know in the comments if you are interested in any of them.

PS: Have you looked into Moringa? I just bought some. Not only for use now, but also as stock for the lean times, so that I survive a restricted diet.
Take care and hope all is well with your lovely family.
Well hello there!
Yes indeed, you inspired this little project in many ways. Once you sent over that collection of goodies I started finding more and more and it only felt right to share them with others.
Thanks for the extra document. I was able to download no problem. Flicking through it, I believe I already have my bug out bag ready to go. The only thing we don't do is take it with us when we leave the house! This will start now...
So weird you should mention moringa. We were talking about it just yesterday. Back in Bali it grew in our garden and I mixed the leaves with our daily smoothie. Here I am trying to find plant suppliers so I can grow it in our courtyard. Not sure if they will survive winters, but it's worth a shot. Perhaps we can build something around them when the weather turns cold? Or give them a dedicated room inside...
We have just found our nearest spirulina farm where we are going on Thursday to buy a load of it. This & moringa tick most of the nutritional boxes to keep us operating at optimum ;)
All the best to you my friend!
Now to enjoy the collapse from the best seats in the house...
Wow!
Thanks! :)

My pleasure. This feels like the most useful thing I could be doing for humanity at this time.
