Fantastic post, Jason. You thought about this one from so many different angles. I don't know if I can come to the same conclusions as you have, but all of the many different theories on the matter are greatly appreciated. I'm reminded of the movie conspiracy theory. "A good conspiracy is an unprovable conspiracy. If you can figure it out, they screwed it up." Perhaps one of these theories hit the nail right on the head. I've a feeling there is lots of plausible deniability baked into the proverbial cake. Again, nice work!
