INTRODUCTION

Hi everyone. It's sad to apprehend that the gaffer of the Manchester United football team in England has been dismissed from his contract as the Football team's manager. This followed a brief emergency meeting held by the board of directors known as 'the glazers', after a huge defeat to a blazing Watford team who scrupulously dazzled the red devils a whooping 4:1 defeat.

How and why it happened

Manchester united has lost 5 games in their last 7 matches and drawn 1, winning just 1(against Tottenham). This has been due to the fact that the coach is apparently seen as incapable of utilizing the quality of squad he posses.

Adding to the reason also, is the inability of the coach to win any trophy for the club since joining in 2018 as a replacement to Jose Mourinho. They have played major European games and didn't emerge as winners even though reaching the Europe League final and loosing in penalty shootouts against Villarreal.
They have also, successfully acquired the likes of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Edinson Cavani, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny Van De Beek and Alex Telles. An additional huge boost was confirmed few weeks ago with the signing back of the world's best player(arguably) to the team, in the likes of Christano Ronaldo. Already in two months, he has scored 4 premier league goals and 5 champions league goals in 12 matches he played.

Ronaldo seemed to have been saving the job of Ole for some matches, but this time, could not find the back of the net. Although he placed a headed assist for Van de Beek who scored United's only goal.

It was expected that the defeat they got from Liverpool (5:0) would have prompted Ole's dismissal, but the board put a little more faith in the Norwegian. He brought some hopes alive after thrashing Tottenham 3:0 at home. But this time, a win was highly expected.

Before the match, he put expectations high by saying that his players are keen to display a positive attitude in the match and he urged the fans to be on the lookout for a good result. But Watford wasn't the team they expected. Joshua King opened the scoring in the 28th minute and below is how the scoreline ended:

CONCLUSION

The fans expect to have a new coach by next week, with Zenedine Zidane, Ronald Koeman, Thomas Tuchel and Jurgen Klop in the board's list of new targets. They really need to step up their game and hold on to qualify for the round of 16 stage of the champions league, and additionally, make a top four spot in the premier league this season at least.
