WEEK 22 CONTEST : ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BY @peggybaby

INTRODUCTION

Good day fellow steemians its with great pleasure that i am writing this beautiful article.
maybe because of the topic or because writing is almost becoming a hobby.
well, whichever one, i am super excited to participate in this contest.

First off, i want to say a very big thank you to the admins and moderator of campusconnect for always serving us with beautiful contest. To me ,this is not just a mere game but a way of reminding us in this community that we should not forget the people that helped us get to this level, cause not everyone that desired to further their education got it, even though they had people that were capable to sponsoring them but they refused to do so.

MY SPONSORS

i will like to talk about two major people that saw me through school. Everyday i wake up to pray, i never cease to mention their names in my prayers.

The first person on my list is my Mother , in the person of Mrs Margareth Ukoha . she didnt just support me in the University only but she has being a very strong support system to Us her children since our childhood. she paid my school fees from nursery to university. even though she didnt pay the tuition fees for all the sessions in my higher institution but she still tried her best.

Apart from paying my fees, she made sure i attended the best primary and secondary school at the time (*ST Patrick's Model school). i could remember vividly the day she went to enroll us in St Patricks's. A friend of hers had told her that there was this new school in town that wass actually good but the challenge is that their fees was way too high. My mum immediately told her friend that her children wil attend it. That was how we went there for the first time. On our way back, it rained heavily and we were all drenched. My dad of-blessed-memory, got angry at my mum for always wasting her money but she calming told him that she wants the best for us.

Honestly , my dreams for her can never be over-emphasized. no person in his or her right senses can ignore such parental love and care. she didnt use her money for gratify her desires by acquiring a luxury house and fleets of cars but she rather choose to invest it on her wards. Only God knows what i will do for her in no distant time.
All those things she denied herself, i will give it to her in abundance by the Grace of God.

i remember how i would call her for some pocket money she will tell me please , let me send food stuff to you. that she doesnt have money. on two ocassion she waybilled the food stuff in the house to me all the way from Aba to Calabar, that actually made me to study so hard to come out as the best , it also made to work so hard trying to do businesses, that informs why i joined steemit too.

MY SECOND SPONSOR

the name of my second sponsor is Moses Ukoha, he's my immediate elder brother. we grew up together. we went to the same primary and secondary school. He very calm but his heart is full of gold.

when i told him that i want to resign from my job to further my education, he said okay that he will try his best. Frankly speaking i never knew he meant it. He paid my school fees to final year. he also paid for my accomodation to final year.
one remarkable thing he did was that he was sending me money for upkeep on weekly basis. i was practically receiving credit alert from him every friday throughout the session. He made my schooling much more easy. onetime i called him , he said to me i don't have money, if i have it what will i be doing with it. such a kindhearted brother.

During my project, he made sure he paid for it. infact all the text books, handouts, my clearance everything school, he paid for all. And today i am a proud graduate.

over the years i have painted so many pictures of the things i will do for my beloved brother. first of all i pray for him everyday. secondly, i want to do a mind blowing thing for him.

i thought of so many beautiful things like house, car, money etc but i know his labour of love towards me will never be in vain.

The most beautiful part of the whole thing is that he has never bragged to me that she sponsored me in school. he has never said it to my hearing. Even if he is angry with me he will stick to that matter, but will never overreact. he is such a disciplined person . some times i wonder what life would have been like without him being born in our family cause he's not the only sibling that i have.

By God's grace i will certainly pay him back with good coins, he is such a kind man.

i will like to encourage everyone of us to emulate our sponsors , when we are in a better position tomorrow. we should not only do them good but also to every other person connected to us.
