• Virtual learning:

Virtual learning in my own understanding I believe is the type of learning that consist the availability of online environment where teaching and learning can be done with the help of a computer or smart phone and a good internet connection.

• VIRTUAL LEARNING IN UNIVERSITIES

As time goes on , the world keep experiencing good technology evolution which has brought many positive effect in our society today.not only that, this has gradually grown to the educational sector of the world mostly in the developed and developing countries of Africa , America ,Asia and Europe .
These technological improvement of learning has brought full blown growth to the educational sectors of many developed countries where educational tourist come from far and near to these countries.
Although in Africa today 90% of their universities are still struggling so hard to adapt to this virtual learning which makes them still practice the traditional way of learning in classroom with more than 300 students,Which I will say has not really brought a very positive impact to the students and universities at large.
Most times lecturer find it difficult to go through the large number of students after a test or assignment is given and returned for score and also the spread of physical notes which is meant for the accessibility of the students to read and understand, without spending much funds on text books.

• Roles of Virtual learning:

In Nigeria universities today, this system of learning has brought good to the teaching and learning in universities who use it.for example when universities who still do the traditional way of learning in Nigeria, student's always have this difficulty of missing exam paper of students who wrote his or her exam but fortunately couldn't get a score because of that and the tend to have rewrite in another year of study which I believe Is really a stressful one,but with the Accessibility of virtual learning students won't have any kind of problem with missing script and all other problems we have as a student in a traditional learning.

• Benefits of virtual learning
  1.DISTANCE:
  In virtual learning distance is not a barrier students/lecturer can be active without complaining of long distance .

2.COMFORT ZONE:
In normal class room settings students and lecturer always find it stressful with the large number of students ,but with virtual learning students can learning in their comfort zone with stress of transportation or crowd in the lecture hall.

3.EXPOSURE:
In virtual learning students normal have this accessibility to to make research and get more exposure on the internet community.

• Do you think Nigerian universities can adapt fully in this type of learning?

In virtual learning many things are involved but I will just give few and what is my opinion.

• Poor Management:
  In Nigerian universities we always face this problem of poor management which has been a problem from memorial for example many schools find it hard in making sure that the school cyber unit is in good situation for easy accessibility by students .

• Poor Availability of internet connection:
  In virtual learning is much better when there is good internet connection to avoid poor learning experience.as we all know Nigeria has this epileptic internet connection which really affect communication in its full.

• Poor Availability of power:
  When there is power shutdown students and lecturers will find it hard to be connected to the virtual class .

In conclusion I would say universities around the world should embrace this type of learning because it has served so well in the past during the pandemic and has continued to serve well to universities who use virtual learning.
