Hello Chefs and soon to be chefs🙂🙂, it's our second cooking tutorial on your most Favorite show Liams Campus Kitchen Vibes, and I am your favorite male chef 🧑‍🍳 @liams1.

Remember, the aim of this cooking tutorials is to eat good food and spend less on campus. You may never achieve that if you always get food from fast food for breakfast, launch and dinner 😅.

Guess what we are teaching today?🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 (Drum rolls)

No other meal that you Favorite friend beans😋😋.

We all know how proteinous beans is to our system, research made it clear that beans has 347 calories content, fibre and also folate, which is very healthy for both humans and animals.

It's so bad that people in this side of the world think that beans is a meal for the poor but it is a very big fallacy. Combinations of beans with meals like rice, plantain, egg, bread etc has been said to be a balanced diet which is more healthier than most junks we take in.

Welcome to my Campus Kitchen, let's now learn how to prepare Beans😋😋😋.

First of all, beans could be prepared in several ways, which are:

  • Boiling
  • Baking
  • Frying
    BBF😁😁

Sorry I won't be teaching all this methods but I will be using the boiling method to prepare our Oil beans.

How to prepare Oil beans

It will surprise us that with a thousand naira we can have a meal of beans which could last us for a day or two on campus, bellow is the list and key ingredients for our meal

List of needed ingredients

  • Beans ( brown, iron, white, honey etc)
  • Palm oil
  • Crayfish
    *Maggi
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Vegetable (pumpkin or ugu in Igbo)

With this aboved ingredients we are good to go.
Let's all go to the market to get these stuffs.

Note: you could decide not to use the leaves, you can also use fish, meat sea foods etc, depending on how much you have.

Prepation

  • First of all select the beans and remove the dirts, shaft and sand ( this could take you time.)

  • Always make sure all your ingredients are close by and ready for use, cut your onion, sieve your Crayfish, cut your leaves etc.

  • Per Boil your beans and let get soft a little, you could remove the water after per boil so you won't experience missile bombing after your are done with eating 🤣🤣🤣.

  • After per boiling, we put back the pot

  • Pour your palm oil and add onion to clear the oil

  • Put your per boiled beans and let it steam alittle

  • Add water and pepper let it steam.

  • Add your Maggi and crayfish

  • Put a very little pinch of salt so you don't cook what you can't eat😁😁😁😁

  • Let it boil for a while then finally add your Leave 🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳.

Congratulations you just prepared oil beans meal, and you can eat it with rice, bread, papa, garri, custard etc.
