Campus Diary: my students week

Hello friend's it's been a great weekend I guess as I have heard rumors about the Assu strike which is going to be called off soon.

I know we all at University of Uyo teaching hospital are very happy because the long holidays are over. To be sincere the house was as bored as and I couldn't even figure out what to do all this while.

But I pray that this rumors I am hearing, all come to a reality because I can't wait to see my friends go back to campus and begin their lectures as well.

Today I decided to share with everyone how my students week went. And all the activities we had during the week.

First we began everything with the solemn assembly in othernto tell God everything that we need as well as pray for the school and s successful schooling year.

Then after the solemn assembly, all the students and our students Deen or should I say admin, we moved out to rally and to create awareness to people around us about our students week.

And we danced, shouted and did all we could do as we also had some chilled soft drinks along the way.

The second day we went out for rag day which unfortunately I wasn't able to go because on that day after the rally I was a little bit under the weather. I really missed a lot that day.

On Wednesday which is the third day, we had general cleaning and environmental sanitation. And we had seminar and of course a lot was taught and learnt.

Thursday was super fun as we had a football match between school of health information management and school of health technology, Etinan ( institute).

Friday morning we had a kind of party which we had some interesting activities like speech by the chairman, cultural dance and support/presentation of students union government calendar.

And the party never ended without the floor opened to all students to dance and celebrate the end of their week. But that is not all, later in the evening we had a night party which took place till morning.

In the night, we had beauty pageant for Mr and Mrs SHIM 2022. Some artist perform and we had a young dancer order us into the floor of dancing.

We had some games and other competition which where very interesting and i really learned and of course I had so much fun.

I can't wait for another another interesting package I mesn students week 2023.
