Campus Connect Weekly Contest - Week 19 : Looking To The Future, Plans For 2022

Hello everyone in this great CampusConnect community. I trust everyone is doing great.

It's literally been a new year for the past 10 days now. The previous year, 2021 was quite a rollercoaster, if you'd ask. It technically wasn't the best of years for me, neither was it the worst—just a little in-between. Well, it's been over for quite a bit now, and what's a more reasonable thing to do, than to let go and move on.

New Year's resolution is almost like a tradition for most people, where people resolve to keep doing good, change undesirable habits and behaviors, attain personal goals, or otherwise tend to led more rewarding or meaningful lives in general, at the beginning of a new year.
Just like any other year (the previous ones), people have been known to go into a new year armed with their new year's resolutions, and I wasn't going to be an exception.

Some of my resolutions include to be more actively involved in my academics, to make more friends, most importantly to get more than I had in the past year out of the Steemit network. These are just a few out of my somewhat long resolution list.
I've even started getting more involved in the practical aspects of the course I'm learning in school, Building Technology.
I literally have to find construction works or sites by myself, since my institution of learning does not offer much of these practical works, but rather theoretical.

My uncle who's a registered builder had invited me over to his construction site, where he shows me the exact transformation of our theoretical learning in school into practical and tangible works, that can be physical used.

Just last week in my mom's selfcon, I was assisting the workers with the tiling they were doing, and in the process learning to tile, myself. This particular item of work should be completed this week, hopefully. But, the resumption of our academic activities in school, is going to make it difficult for me to fully participate in these my practicals outside school.

I went out with my sister for driving lessons yesterday, my goal being to get my driver's license this year.

We used a large open field in school—choosed this location for safety reasons. It is mostly free of people on Sundays and has a long motorable path going around the field.

After completing my driving lessons for the day, I went to source for materials to aid in the completion of my project and couldn't help but to take a few shots, lol.

Earlier on I mentioned wanting to get more and more out of the Steemit network than I had done in the past year. In my bid to do this, I self studied the Blockchain, NFTs, Bitcoin mining, mining rigs and Bitcoin halving over the last 12 years. I also watched some tutorial videos on how to use Binance, and also enquired from my mentor @jacksonmark1 about the stuffs I needed clarity on.

All these I've done, in a bid to become an active member of the SteemitCryptoAcademy community as well. I've been gearing up/prepping to ensure I met the minimum requirements of the upcoming season. I'm also learning to improve on the way to tackle their related assignments.
