Campus Connect Engagement Contest Week 3 || My Experience On Campus As A New Student In My University|| by @edidiongeffiong

HELLO FRIENDS IN CAMPUS CONNECT

You are welcome to my blog once again, hope you guys are having a nice day, cause am having a wonderful day as well.
This week engagement challenge Topic in @campusconnect is "My experience on campus as a new student in the University", and i want to thank campus connect for giving us the chance to tell and narrate how our first day in school was, and for always doing their best towards the growth of this community.

ABOUT THE ATMOSPHERE

The atmosphere that day was sunny with no clouds in Uyo, it was early monday morning 2016, i and my friend Omini were rushing from Etinan so that we can reach Uyo very early to enter school(University of Uyo) so that we can start looking for the venue to our first lecture.
It was really a very stressful day to me cause I didn't even know where to begin, when i was still trying to find the venue to my first lecture which was BLD111, a group of cult boys blocked me, started threatening and asking me some stupid questions, i was really scared and i thought they were going to harm me or something.

I started begging them, telling them I don't know what they are talking about, before i know they began to search me and they removed all the money i was with that day, i thank God by that time i didn't bought my android phone, they took everything and they left me stranded in the city of Uyo.

I didn't even have the urge in finding the venue anymore, all i was thinking was how i would go back home, i had to start begging people for money.
Honestly my first day in school was horrible.

PEOPLE I MET ON MY FIRST WEEK IN SCHOOL

When i fully resume school, i met a lot of people i ask them so many questions concerning school and so many related things, we walk together and we attended lectures together, i didn't want to separate from them so that those cult people will not block me again and so that i will easily know where the venue we were having lectures.

DID YOU GUYS TURN OUT TO BE GREATER FRIENDS?

No we didn't, they were just my colleagues, i didn't trust and know them that much to take them as my best friends.

It was when they gave us a group assignment, and the lecturer divided us into 5 groups that was when i met my best friends in school, which i trust them and i got to know them very well, and they were even the one that helped me in finding a house in Uyo.
