The dark alley

Lily Linton and Mr Ambrose
Plot
The meal was a disaster, not the meal actually but the way it took the place. Mr Ambrose stares at Lilly which terrified her to the point she ate the meal so quick and ran off to the suite. When she got to the corridor a hand gripped her and voice came in asking her where she was going , to the room actually to have a nap she’s tired, to avoid people knowing what was going on , he told her to come see the city it always beautiful at night but she insisted on going back to the suite, Mr Ambrose lifted up and hitting her back against the wall ......he told her to pretend atleast to be a good wife and she told him the same and he landed her a kiss to lips that settling everything and they were outside already.
They went down the street that’s when he told her they were going to buy information from the people running the place ,as they moved along Lily saw women who were half naked and dancing for men and all parts of there body jiggle, she was disgusted by it but Mr Ambrose tried to explain that that’s what the place is all about . He dragged her into a dark alley and everything was indeed dark ,you couldn’t see the face of a man walking towards you until his close enough. All the men who walked pass them wore the French army uniform and Lily looked behind her she noticed a man hiding in the shadows. She alerts Mr Ambrose but he didn’t seem to care he just walked gripping her hand. He tells her that the men she saw are his men, they work for him and they are there to protect them and she asked the one behind the ones protecting them he replies he tells they are protecting the ones protecting them.
Now they start to hear laughters and voices coming from the end of the alley . When they got there Mr Ambrose made it known to Lily that the fat man there is who they are here for (Lily didnt like the place because of the smoking and puffing of pipes) they entered the fat mans place , Mr Ambrose reminded the man that he sent one of his men to tell him he was coming . Mr Ambrose told him he wants to buy info the man quickly claps his hands for the women who were barely wearing anything that Lillian looked at in horror left . The man requested Lily to leave too but was shut down by mr Ambrose. Mr Ambrose told him her wanted info about men who were killing people and stealing goods at the caravan , the fat man told him the info he needs he has it all that he knows what happens around the area . The conversation was cut short by a guard who whispered to the fat man’s ear as he leaves the room to attend to the problem . When he was out of hearing aid Lillian began cursing the naked women after a short while the man was back and I forgot to say he was Italian. He told Mr Ambrose that info is sacred that he can’t pass it on but mr Ambrose gets up and whispered something into his ear and the man’s eye went wide. He asked how he knew about that and he just replied he has sufficient contacts. The man signal his men as they went for the weapons but Mr Ambrose advices the man not to try it that he has men all over the place and if his not out the won’t waste time in tearing the place apart. Mr Ambrose tells Lily to go outside and tell the men everything is alright she resists at first but she will go obviously as she walks outside the bangs into a man , he asked if she was looking at a bugger, Lily recognizes the voice and the man recognizes her as the scene goes like this ending the chapter
