Plot

Lily and karim interrogated the men as it was known they were workers of a certain English lord just as they suspected but the men didn’t know who they were and told them they are not who they claim to be. This means they will put more into the disguise and acting.
Mr Ambrose arrived late to dinner and lily told him about the idea of the acting , she suggested they should add the following irrational emotions:devotion,passion,love,yearning, infatuation and attachment . Lily thought he just listed those like a shopping list ,she told him sarcastically did he forget amorous AKA lust and he said by all means she should add it on the list now Lily knew he know nothing about sarcasm. He shot her a glare that had everything on the list pointing at her food he asked aren’t you finished Love and she replied it went cold before your arrival, he told her that he request that she doesn’t eat it and he asked her for a dance and told her to do her best in arranging her features on things on the list but she asked in that order or rearrange them alphabetically his looks went cold. So they were on the dance floor and at just the beginning Lily stepped on him three times already he told her that she should show all the listed qualities of devotion, passion,...........that indeed everyone excepts the female to be the emotional one . He said this isn’t working, the fact she is looking at him with a vengeful fury from hell and she just asked if his noticing now all he did was lean closer and told her to remember they are in love life and she replies **no we aren’t ** then he replies yes we are spinning her at the right time of the music he pulled her close and he eyes sparkled like a candle light before she could prevent it his lips meet hers . no not in public not in front of everyone she struggled to get out of his hold before she noticed something delicious wet tickle her lips at a moment his powerful tongue invaded her mouth and the only thing that spoke and resisted was her thoughts. She danced three fold and but she danced more with her lips which sent a roaring sensation down her body . Then she heard giggles come around them Lily finding it was about enough departed from his lips slowly opening the eyes that slid shut during the kiss, Mr Ambrose murmured just relax against her lips , remember where in love people who are in love kiss each other all the time,she replies **i don’t want to kiss you ,I don’t love you I hate you he tells then she should start pretending better.

They didn’t have solid chocolate in Egypt probably because it melted too easily or maybe that ingenious invention hasn’t reach this part of the world , she slumped down on one of the chairs beside the refreshments picking up a date and watched mr Ambrose dance with the French ambassador’s daughter who was there as part of the excursion up the Nile Delta.mr Ambrose gave Lily a sign that she would have broke his toes if she continued dancing with him sooner or later.
Lily murmured to herself asking why the ambassador of Egypt was here anywhere , not like they imported frogs and snails here.she bit down on the date and winced , that wasn’t exactly her taste as what she needed was solid chocolate a massive amount that gives her comfort. The music ended and Mr Ambrose and the French girl parted , she smiled at him , he bowed to kiss her hand and she smile so widely Mr Ambrose went to a table and ordered water the only priceless thing on the menu he took a sip and raised he face making he get an eye contact on Lily. A woman came beside her saying bon dieu, young amour is such a beautiful thing Lily turned around and saw a comtesse a noble French woman who she met a night before, and she told the woman her knowledge of French is a little shaky or maybe none existent but Lily knew what amour , the woman told her is young love that’s about what she said .
She told Lily how noticeable they are madly in love with each other but Lily disagreed in her mind and fought the idea. When woman also told her that he is also in love with you Lily jaw dropped as she thought the French government needs to give into her citizens. But when the woman said that Lily turn catching Mr Ambrose eyes with her and the woman concluded saying you see what am talking about and she left , Mr Ambrose walked straight to Lily in a straight line coming over to her and asked her for a danced and Lily didn’t agree to it and Mr Ambrose reminded her that she’s his wife she has no choice but Lily said she is exhausted that she doesn’t want. Lily said all this just to prove the woman’s words in her head wrong but Mr Ambrose had other plans as he dragged her up to the stage and she tried to struggle as he whispers I won’t have this operation ruined , not by you not by anyone.

At dinner all lily did was stab her meal and looked at a perfectly impossible face , and he said to her this isn’t working as he broke the silence , atleast try to be convincing and she replies am trying and all Lily thought about was FAKE everything was fake it was all about the woman’s voice . He told her coldly,your last chance but lily didn’t know what and he said am warning you, Lily didn’t know what to do , whether to smile or :............and he said as you wish with a quiet menace and got up from his sit , Lily looked at his food which was half full and asked your already done and he replied he feels like retiring as he matched upstairs and Lily kept thinking about the woman’s words with fake along side it then loses her appetite and decides to go to bed with a yawn as she walks up to the door she hears a moan but she was surprised thinking that Mr Ambrose couldn’t fall sick at this time if he did at all right before she banged into room and saw Mr Ambrose was perfectly fine along side the girl he was with.
