Before I became a student and moved on campus, I thought that the campus was a place of freedom where every student gets to do whatever they want and whenever they want to do it. Little did I know that it was a different case with Ahmadu Bello University Zaria - Nigeria. That is if at all it is the case with other universities. When I became a student, I knew then that the campus was not an environment made just for fun but a place for seriousness, hard work, and due diligence. Since then, all I ever thought of was "work!!!" to the point that I hardly had a good sleep, and whenever I awake I did not remember to say "Good morning Jesus" all I remember was "Good morning work," then came this day, 29th of October 2021.

My Best Day on Campus

The 29th day of October 2021 was the day we had our departmental picnic, and it was my best day on campus. I was filled with the joy of being out of the lecture hall and my reading table and was rather, surrounded by friends, coursemates, and colleagues. The picnic was funfilled, with many activities such as horse riding, bike racing, various gaming competitions, eating competitions, snap shorts, etc.
I had a great time with my six closest friends on campus, Hussein, Jibril, Olatunji, Yusuf, Aishat, and Nafeesat.
I participated in most of the activities, which gave me the feeling of great fulfillment as the saying go "all work without play makes Jack a dull boy."
