I'd like to welcome everyone to this contest, which is titled "The Role of Virtual Learning In Universities Around The World" and without further ado, let me get right to answering the questions.

Attempting to re-create the traditional classroom online has been a challenge with remote learning. In remote learning, the organization, materials, and activities are all replicated in a different physical area.

Many teachers have been innovative in their use of remote classrooms, and these educators should be commended. Virtual learning has existed since the advent of technology, but with recent happenings virtual engagement exploded and was incorporated into every facet of society, including academics. As schools migrated online, virtual learning became the only way to keep the academic sector afloat.

What does it mean to learn virtually? Virtual learning is supposed to be used in conjunction with regular classroom instruction. It's a sort of learning that's aided by the use of a computer or the internet, whether inside or outside of a classroom. When students and teachers learn online, they are separated by distance in terms of location, time or both.

Virtual learning is is used to expanf educational system, Virtual learning is used by many educators and has been for some time.

Will virtual learning shape education and Learning the way we know it?

With the rise of technological advancement and the pandemic effect that has resulted in technological growth, there is no doubt that education/learning should have a fair share of the advancement.

There's no doubt that visual learning will change education in such a way that it will be a win-win situation for both students and teachers, in the sense that learning will become much easier for students and information passing will become much less tidier for teachers.

  • Visual learning will allow professors and students to be physically separated while still being in the same visual class, eliminating classroom overcrowding and discomfort.

  • The fact that virtual reality aims to bring people considerably closer to the Internet will aid learning. For instance, a student taking online classes to connect better with the material and teachers.

  • Visual reality allows you to be anywhere at any moment. This means that students studying history will benefit greatly from the ability to travel back in time to the time of the construction of the Roman basilica or the ancient Egyptian pyramid.

  • Students can participate in classes at their own pace and on their own time in a virtual learning environment. They are capable of studying at their own pace. When there is little or no pressure, which is prevalent in physical classroom learning, students will feel more at ease and peaceful. It is much easier to learn in such situations.

  • Virtual learning is especially accessible for students with disabilities, as it allows them to access teachings that might otherwise be unavailable in a traditional setting.

  • online education Students have access to a variety of instructional resources that help them learn more effectively; unlike traditional classroom learning, they are not restricted to specific textbooks or materials.

Do you think your university will incorporate virtual learning into its curriculum?/ State the reason for the answer

image.png

Due to advancement in technology most institution will be forced to incorporate virtual learning into their school curriculum but in as much we have a lot challenges like poor Internet Access, poor electricity supply. They will sure incorporate it so as to move with the digital trend.

image.png

Do you think such a move will be plausible/

I believe that incorporating visual learning into the school curriculum is a viable option because it will undoubtedly facilitate learning. One will not even need to get dressed before attending lessons or get out of bed to take quizzes.

This would undoubtedly lessen the learning barrier posed by distance, as most of us who like schools in other regions but are unable to attend due to distance will have nothing to fear when we can visually learn from our various locations.

Virtual learning is an extension of the educational experience, not a replacement for physical learning. Virtual learning would be possible in most Nigerian public institutions if the proper equipment and structure are in place.

Have you had any experience with virtual learning, if yes kindly indicate when and how

Yes, Currently am making use of ** Virtual leaning ** due to the on-going strike in some universities in Nigeria

Conclusion:

Whether face to face or virtual Learning, technological advancements and pandemics have exposed the rising disparities in our educational system. We can now see more clearly where school financing and community infrastructure have rendered remote connectivity nearly impossible. While some students have lost educational chances as a result of structural inequity and a lack of resources, others now have at-home tutors or work in learning pods to complement and supplement their remote study.
